People certainly seem to be "hand picked", as such it isn't difficult to get quite cynical about these things. I did apply but was obviously not selected - do I assume I am regarded as a moaning DATM bast@rd?

Tbf a guy who was there mentioned on twitter that everything you could expect to be asked was and he saw it as overall a really positive experience. Many would say it's just talk and I guess that's fair until changes are made but it would seem a lot is planned for the summer no matter which division we are in

I am pretty certain I wouldn't be at the front of the queue.

Hi, don’t normally post on here anymore, just read.
I was there yesterday and it was a wholly positive experience. I have commented on Twitter, that Kevin Nagle is untainted by our many years of disappointment and of throwing great opportunities away.
He is a very confident positive person, and is determined to change things and have future success.
It was great to be in the boardroom with Boothy, DTS and others.
My only complaint was that, because we were all talking and paying attention to others, we didn’t get chance to do justice to the splendid afternoon tea provided. I’m sure the staff would have finished off the many leftovers.
No idea what the criteria was but very pleased to be asked. UTT

By the way I don’t think I applied formally, I commented on a Justasmithers thread that if an invite was forthcoming I would be very pleased and wouldn’t turn it down

The big screen outside the stadium is twice the size as the one inside the stadium which makes no sense to me. It's like sticking a 75 inch TV in your kitchen and a portable in the living room. I can no longer hear the announcer and I can't see the little 'big' screen where I sit. A few games back I could hear some long winded audio which lasted most of halftime, no idea what it was about but it sounded like people were watching an episode of coronation street or something? Then our players came out to nothing followed by the opposition who came out to music? I suppose if entertainment on the pitch is nonexistent we shouldn't expect anything at HT either?

I went to one last time he was over. Not sure what the selection process was but the group was made up of women. A few including myself are part of HTAFC women’s network. There were a couple of ladies whose families have a box and a lady who had worked at the academy in the past. It was interesting and I was allowed to give my opinion but I don’t think I learnt anything that I didn’t already know.

Didn’t the club post something to the effect of “ look out for info on how to register interest in the next one” then just randomly selected people? Could be wrong on that but next time it would be nice to have a chance of applying for it.

"Interested supporters should email teatime@htafc.com with all of their relevant details. While there is no guarantee of attendance, each entry will be reviewed."

Sounds like the people who went found it informative.

I was there yesterday and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the open and frank discussions which was encouraged. Whilst acknowledging our current situation those there were looking positively to the future as Kevin’s Nagle is a realist regarding what needs to happen. He spoke of creating a winning culture and this comes with time and a great deal of input from the players, club staff and ourselves. He is doing his best to obtain control of the ground and will continue to invest in the club in order to see us have a brighter future. From what was said there is a great amount of work going on in the background to bring about positive change on and off the pitch. I must admit I came away enthused and regardless of what happens over the next 6 games, knowing we have been fortunate to have gained investment from a genuine philanthropist who cares about our club.

Key word is ‘match day’. It’s a day, not 90 minutes. Have you been hibernating for the last 8 months? Oh wait, you haven’t. Youve actually seen and said how big the tv is that we watch footy on before the game. You know, to help the match “day” experience.

One of the highlights of the kids day is going down early, meeting mates in the fan park, getting autographs, playing footy. I get to have a beer, I get to spend time with them all and in the background is a footy game on tv. You aren’t the target market.

Where's this big screen then? I've not seen one, I have no interest in all this to be fair, I just get there at 5 to 3 and watch the game, this match day experience is lost on me.

It’s because of the kids I go to be fair. Let’s be honest. The main thing is the game. That’s what it’s all about, watching Town. It’s what we’ve done for decades. But you’ve to evolve. I don’t mean fans, I mean the club. It’s all about revenue. I know a successful team will generate more revenue but there’s no harm trying to generate revenue prior to the game. And it’s a good crack when the sun is out and a good game is on. It’s across from the cinema. Look for the 30 foot TV up in the air 😀
