It's not an absolute graveyard then is it? What’s our record there? Admittedly it's not great. But many fans expected Millwall to beat us and their record at our spot over 10 games is. Won 1 Drawn 2 Lost 7 We have a similar record at Deepdale. Wouldn't call it a graveyard, as we have been fucked over by officials there plenty. I do get your point. But they have minimal to play for. I can see us winning this one.

We have played at Deepdale a total of 49 times and won 11 games. Our first game there was in 1913. Before we won there in 2022, our last win had come in 1969.

Last time I went to Deepdale was 1993, on the plastic pitch, during the miraculous Mick Buxton inspired escape from relegation to the bottom division.
Lost, obviously 😁

Anyone else who's ordered tickets from the club had a delay in receiving them via the post? Seem to remember there was some sort of issue last season which meant us having to collect them from their ticket office on the day.

Getting a ticket tomorrow, hope the win yesterday sees us taking a decent following - the team needs every bit of support that can get to drag us over the line.
Not that far to travel and similar clubs coming to ours in this situation would probably take a couple of thousand.

Why would a result 25/30 years ago give us any indication of a result on Tuesday?

I’ve been a few times and never seen us win, so thought I’d check. Since promotion in 2012, we’ve won 1, drawn 1 and lost7! The home record isn’t much better either so the last 10 years or so, they’ve certainly been one of our bogey teams. I've been 5 times, seen 5 defeats 4 in the league and 1 in the league cup.

I remember my old man forever saying we never get anything at PNE. I was born in 1969 and I bet he was there for our win that year at Deepdale. He passed in 2016, 47(!) years after the win in 1969. Unbelievable really that we didn’t win again there til 2022.

I don't subscribe to the theory that PNE will be on the beach. I reckon they will be fired up for this, they're still in the playoff picture and they will likely see this as a target game to get 3 points from.
We obviously need wins now. Just imagine how better we will feel if we beat PNE, and Leicester beat Millwall, Norwich beat Sheff Wednesday and Cardiff beat Birmingham. In saying that, how much will we be at panic stations should we lose, and one or more of those other results go against us.
Being a Town fan is never easy is it?

No chance they’ll be on the beach, it will be a tough game and we need to play well and take our chances to get anything from it. We’ve missed some big chances in the last 3/4 games, so that again and we’ll go home empty handed.

So let's make it a sell out in the away end!!

A game for the nerves again, 0 - 0 with 2 minutes to go we get a pen and score, or we are winning 1 - 0 with 2 mins to go they get a pen and Nicholls does a worldly save.

Where is best for parking? Parked at the white hart pub before but didn’t know if there was anywhere nearer? You can usually park on street opposite stadium think it’s a church on left usuallly just down there .

Been 7 times to Deepdale and never seen us win so I’m going to give tomorrow a miss and hope the omen of me not going (like last year) pays off and we come away with a win.
Draws aren’t good enough at this stage, let’s go, bang bang and win these next 2.
Have these lot got the bollocks and graft to go and do it?

Be a poor game for probably again.Andre has alluded to as much recently in pressers, when saying we aren’t playing to his preferred philosophy. The pressing has almost been done away with in favour of trying to be more organised. With that in mind I think Healey will be held back for later on too. Get the feeling for another draw again though. Our personal favourite of 1-1.Jackson for me can’t start after Saturday. 4-2-3-1 instead of the 4-4-2 for this one. Nicholls Spencer Pearson Helik Headley Matos Kasumu Sorba Wiles Koroma Radulovic Thought wiles picked a few good passes after he came on Saturday and with those two behind him can accommodate his lack of mobility. Koroma should be a touch fresher than burgzorg. Defend properly and don’t give anything cheap away and take the one or two proper chances we do get. Could be another boring horrible watch but at this stage who cares.

This one feels like a real opportunity now. Its very much the kind of fixture that we need to take something from if we are going to stay up. Its also hard to see us winning both remaining home games thus we are going to need something from these next two if that's the case.
A creditable 1-1 I think but blimey if we could sh1thoouse a win...!?

Need to be aiming for 5 wins from 5 now however unrealistic it sounds.

This is the type of game we have to start to win if we're going to stay up, the results we got last season to survive were all against the form book. Hopefully Saturdays result gives some confidence. PNE have their own pressures. With a bit of luck lets hope we can get something. The form of the other teams means we have to or it's relegation.

If we can win it'll put us on 46 with 4 to go, the finishing line would be in sight. We have to hope Cardiff, Norwich and Leicester do us a favour.

Busy ref Lewis Smith takes charge of his 1st Town match, so far in 2024 he's done matches in the PL, Championship, L1, L2, FAC, FAT......Even did a few games in Japans J-League in March, gets about a bit.

Where is best for parking? Parked at the white hart pub before but didn’t know if there was anywhere nearer? Park on St Thomas road by Moor Park / Moor Park School. Free on street parking, safe and close. Also no need to turn car around whichever way you enter as it takes you onto a main road either end. (I live in Preston despite having an HTFC season ticket!)
