Anyone else who's ordered tickets from the club had a delay in receiving them via the post? Seem to remember there was some sort of issue last season which meant us having to collect them from their ticket office on the day. No, but I didn't pay postage and was due to collect them from Deepdale like other years, but they've arrived in the post so not sure !!

I'm going for it. Preston players on their jollies Town to win 1-0 No chance they are on their jollies. 7 points off play offs with a game in hand! Although I do agree, town 1-0.

I’m hoping to see the most boring game ever ending nil nil.
We’d probably get done like Millwall did Saturday and then get pelters if that’s what we played for.

Where is best for parking? Parked at the white hart pub before but didn’t know if there was anywhere nearer? Park on St Thomas road by Moor Park / Moor Park School. Free on street parking, safe and close. Also no need to turn car around whichever way you enter as it takes you onto a main road either end. (I live in Preston despite having an HTFC season ticket!) Mental that thats not permit parking so close to the ground, I'd be fuming if I lived on there!

I’m sure we’re all hoping that the adrenaline is still coursing through their veins come 7.45 tomorrow.
Well I certainly am…

Last time I went to Deepdale was 1993, on the plastic pitch, during the miraculous Mick Buxton inspired escape from relegation to the bottom division. Lost, obviously 😁 Last time I went we ended up sat in the car, waiting to get away, listening to the radio. The commentary was the Man U v Wendies game when they won it deep into injury time (Brian Kidd kneesliding across OT). I think they won they're first title since the 60's that year.

As the club said they had posted them next day delivery

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d take a draw here More chance of grabbing something at Brizzle What!! Bristol are a decent side that's not to say PNE are not

Preston aren’t on their jollies, they’ll be just as fired up as we are, ! Only difference is - they’re not shit at football.
Can’t rely on other results either because every week it always always always goes tits up, that’s one of the reasons we are where we are.
That being said, we were shit on Saturday, like proper shit, but we still had chances (some good ones too!). I think the only way we can win is if we can hold on and pinch it at the death - repeat of Saturday.

This won't be easy by any means but it is doable. That said if you gave me a free bet I wouldn't want to call the result.

Just looked at the table, I think Preston will have less belief in making the play offs than our team should have of staying up.
They’re currently 10th , 7 points off Norwich in 6th. They’d need to be 8 points better than Norwich over the last 5 games, pretty unlikely.
And that’s before you factor in Hull and Boro who are 6 points behind Norwich and Coventry who are only 4 points behind.
Would be very un-Preston like but there’s every chance of them not really being up for a battle mentally.

I just had a look at the Small Heath Alliance forum and there's certainly no cockiness on there so everyone's feeling the heat, as are the Millwall fans on their forum.

I’ve been a few times and never seen us win, so thought I’d check. Since promotion in 2012, we’ve won 1, drawn 1 and lost7! The home record isn’t much better either so the last 10 years or so, they’ve certainly been one of our bogey teams. I've been 5 times, seen 5 defeats 4 in the league and 1 in the league cup. Can you stay at home please 🙏

The game was horrendous Saturday quality wise I agree.I do think the weather played a massive part in that though.the wind was ridiculous.we can’t pass a ball at the best of times so with the wind affecting more direct passing a lot it really left us with very little, similar for Millwall too.

The only time I’ve been to Preston was a 0-0 in Buxton’s ‘82-‘83 promotion season. Surprisingly, that’s still one of Town’s better results there in 50-odd years!

Not a good hunting ground for us over the years although we managed a result last year.
Preston are still chasing the play offs so will be up for it.
Head says 2 nill loss, heart says 1 nill win.
