I don't expect anything other than a loss, anything better is a welcome bonus. I hate being so negative but I'm also a realist. I’m the same, mate. I like to see the positives, but not seeing many of those right now. Could just do with Town proving us wrong today! Well they nearly did prove us wrong. If there is anything positive from those last few minutes it is that they maybe able to use the sense of injustice to drive us on.

This is bad timing, I know, but, fucking hell, collect your toys and start blaming the players, the manager, and even yourselves for such misogynistic comments. I'm appalled at the bile spouted about the ref. Shit happens. Nobody died. Move on. What a fucking set of crybabies. What a prick. More upset by a few sexist remarks than town getting relegated. Fuck off to your antifa forum.

certainly not anyone elses. Not the first points we've dropped and won't be the last. You make your own luck. Was a good performance ruined by one moment of madness. It literally is someone else's, a useless referee who has invented a penalty. Without that we win the game, there is no doubt. The only moment of madness belonged to the incompetent person with the whistle. This. We defended perfectly well. But the referee decided, somehow, that deliberate handball includes instances where your back is turned, your arm is by your side, and the ball is kicked at you from a yard away. I despair of officials. It feels the deck has been stacked against us all season. Were one of a clutch of sides struggling, but we have had no luck all campaign. We’re not very good, but everything out of our control has gone against us, and in games of fine margins it has cost us. The only borderline decision I can think going for us all season is the goal v QPR, which was marginally offside. That’s it. Meanwhile, it feels like decisions have gone against us more weeks than not, culminating in that. If that isn’t given, and the Rotherham penalty is, that is probably 4 more points. We’re probably all but safe. But such are fine margins. It’s better to be lucky than good. We’re neither.

Anything less than 2 wins from the 2 home games and we're fucked. Certainly beating Brum is critical. We can only really hope that we win next week and Brum drop points (ideally they lose) and we then beat them to survive with a game to go. If we're in the bottom 3 after the 45th game (even if just by GD) then we're fucked.
I can't see it though. Mentally I think that goal has finished us

Bristol made their own luck. We cant get a last second penalty or score a goal because we are deep in our own box. Personally im fucking sick of watching us melt away and defend in our goalkeepers shorts. The game is played until the final whistle, whenever that is. You and I both know if we get the ball up the pitch and start fucking about with it etc she blows up earlier. The ball is anywhere near either goal and it goes on a bit longer. Play the game..

It may have hit his arm but it was going to hit his fucking body anyway I'm not even convinced it hit his arm. There looked to be more than a hint of shoulder to me. Awful, awful decision. I just can't understand why she's given it. Gets more baffling with each watch.

I’m talking about today! You need to watch the game from minute 90 with the clock on. And my whole point was that the same ref against Hull added 4 minutes on in total for far more stoppages. I don’t know what you want me to say. I’ve explained today and I’m right. I watched it live and in my head the 5 started at 92.20. Their commentators even said something like ‘it’ll easily be 8 or 9 minutes extra due to all the stoppages’.

Need to win these two home games Absolutely no chance and even if we did it wouldn’t be enough. We have won 9 games all season can’t see us all of a sudden getting back to back wins. We are down onto Stockport Wrexham & Mansfield next season!!!!

I think we all knew when Koroma scored with ten minutes to go that by hook or by crook we'd concede before full-time.
Criminal penalty decision tbf, but with our poor ball retention and clueless game management we allowed them into an area that led to the soft penalty.
Swansea and Birmingham are now MUST WIN.

Brums next game Rotherham away when we play Swansea. We need a miracle. we've a better chance with Stoke who have Plymouth(H) and Southampton(A) ..then bristol city(H) Their goal difference is just 4 better than us...

Only watched it back on the phone, but it looked pretty harsh did that penalty.
Gutted for the supporters who made the trek and were a hairs breadth away from a magnificent away day.
We go again in a week, let’s get down there & get behind them from the off.
I know people are looking at Brum beating Rotherham, but you never know…

Well done today Town you were the better team, other than an atrocious decision by the referee, it was 3 well deserved points. As others have mentioned, let's make that negative injustice into a positive and win our next 2,games. UTT

It may have hit his arm but it was going to hit his fucking body anyway From her position, looking from directly in line outside the area (so, totally on the blindside of Turtons body) she couldn’t possibly see what part of his body it hit. The lino I presume was on the main stand side? If so, they are across the other side of a crowded area.

After 54 years, stay up or not, I think I've finally had enough. Tired of following a club where: a) the players earn a fortune yet can't do the basics or are unable to play 2 matches a week without being ill or injured b) there seems to be totally inadequate recruitment top to bottom c) the refs are incompetent week in week out and 90% of 50-50 refereeing calls go against Town. Is this game corrupt ?? I'm 63 years old and my blood pressure went through the roof at 4.55 (yet again !!).
Following this team is hazardous to your health. I'm seriously asking myself now if it's worth it

Whatever you think about "we deserve to go down", "players are shit, "manager(s) are shit", etc, etc,you can't deny that we've been on the wrong end of a lot of decisions this season.
I might have my blue and white specs on, but I can't think of any that have gone our way.

Gutted is putting it mildly, if they'd have scored in the 60th minute we'd have been happy and content with a hard earned point, its just the circumstances it came about that are sickening. Before the Millwall game some were saying three home wins should see us safe, it still might but we just dont know, stating the obvious but its all about us getting wins and hoping other results go favourably although a big chance it could go to the last day.

Compare the 3 penalties given against us to the 6 which have not been given. 4 were much clearer handballs than what was given today, and the other 2 we got booked for diving for clearer fouls than what Boro and Preston were given.

We failed to make them have to work hard to get it there ergo the only team that was going to force their own luck was them. Cant concede an obvious or ludicrous penalty if your not there. We failed to play the game, we played the clock and it cost us. Its similar to running at opponents in the box time after time, you will get a streaky decision every now and again and you will get a ludicrous one eventually, even with VAR. We are very unlucky today but keeping the ball out of the box isnt our main defensive priority and its cost us a lot of points.

Seventeen fkn draws so far, just turning a couple of them into wins would see us almost safe, not quite but almost.

It’s an incredible decision, there appears to have been no doubt in her mind, because if there was you give the corner and let that be played instead. A penalty is an absolutely wild decision that late in a game that is meaningless for the home team, she must have felt she was levelling up in some way for something?

Did Plymouth "make their own luck" last night when Leicester consistently missed absolute sitters after getting into the Plymouth box? Did they f**k! Did Forest make their own luck in the Play Off final with an OG and 2 clear penalties not given? Same answer as above. Make your own luck is absolute rubbish. Playing the clock is also an integral part of any sport
