So moving on from last night what are the thoughts for the weekend ?
I really think we need to make a few changes and hope for some players returning.
If same squad I would go with.
Nicholls Pearson Helik Spencer Sorba Headley Kasumu Matos Wiles Healey Koroma
Healey (even if its for 45mins lets start him and bring Bojan or Ward on) Burgzorg (I just think I would rather Josh played at the moment)
If we have a few players back then
Nicholls
Pearson Lees Helik Spencer
Hogg Matos Sorba Rudoni Koroma Healey
We really need some of the injured to be back and ready to play, AB seems to be very cautious with any injuries long term this maybe the correct approach but right now we need some to play with a knock and do the best the can a 80% fit Rudoni is better than Wiles currenltly for example.

Players/Tactics...I have no idea anymore. Every which way you want to play or line them up only suits half the team and leaves holes and problems elsewhere. Ultimately, we have about 4 championship standard footballers and thats not enough to carry the rest of them.
I do think we're toast if we don't win this game though. Lose and I don't fancy us to win 3 home games on the trot whatsoever (inc Millwall) and even that may leave us needing something at Ipswich.

There's no chance we win as we can't score more than 1 and we aren't keeping a clean sheet. 2 or 3-1 Bristol.

Our only hope is that Bristol City are on the beach. Problem is that Town are so accommodating that even if they are on beach, we'd be rubbing sun cream on their backs and bringing them pina coladas.

They better come out fighting in this game. So far they've proved to the fans that they're too soft for the fight and apart from a couple of players they're not fit to wear the shirt. Two years of this lot making a mockery of our club with spineless, half arsed performances is a joke.
Show some fucking pride!!!

Not conceded in 3 games since international break & currently looking like a team building for next season promotion push, see how Blackburn fair tonight at AG......Ms Welsh is referee on Saturday, unless she drops out again like Stoke away in which case 4th official is another 'rookie' Daniel Middleton (?)..

Free coaches. Only 3 though. I’d already bought tickets so hasn’t actually encouraged me to attend which i guess is the idea?

Last night was the perfect away win opportunity. We took the lead, they were flat and we looked comfortable. We then managed to sabotage all that and ended up getting battered.
I don't think it matters what we do, we need a miracle.

Then, in the evening, we'd happily them ahead of us in the queue and let them have first dibs at the all inclusive buffet; leaving us with all the unlabelled shit which no-one wanted and looked like a dog had sicked it up. Actually, that almost reads like our transfer policy.

I don’t think we have the players capable of beating Bristol. Hoping for a point but I reckon it’ll be another pasting and another nail in the coffin.
Bristol 4-0 Town.

I’m going. I’m as pissed off with last night as any town fan but it’s only four games left now we need to just get behind the team and believe we can get something. Another Watford type result please. 2-1 town.

I think we should play Sorba anywhere but his best position on the right wing
We should play our only half decent striker who's just finding his scoring form in midfield
Instead we could stick a guy up front who isn’t a striker and doesn’t seem to care if we win or lose
We should persevere with this till we are a goal down and then go 4-1-5
That should do it
Town win

I've been once - April 2013, James Vaughn hat trick in a 3-1 win and we still could have gone down on the last day. We finished with 58 points.
Its a different lifetime ago for me but how have we regressed so far since then.
Kudos to those that go on Saturday to watch the current fare.

Playing Healey in midfield was i think just because we had no body else to play there Matos I am convinced has to come off around 70mins, and Wiles has got about 10mins in the tank. On Wiles I think if he got fit he would be a good player, he is probably the best / cleverest player we have jsut not quick / fit enough to do what he is trying.

I thought they'd come out fighting in the first half at Rotherham after the second half horror show versus WBA. However we flat and tepid and then once Thomas was sent off settled for a point We don't seem to reactions to bad results - even against Rotherham who literally were just waiting to get beaten So I'm not expecting a big reaction on Saturday I also have to wonder now if some of the older players know they will be out in the summer if we stay up (because we'll buy better) and aren't putting the effort in because they stand a better chance of staying in League One. They have the money in the bank and there's not much of a reaction after some of these defeats right now

Noticed town are now offering free coaches down to Bristol city . Paid a fortune for train tickets so yeah nice offer town but why so late. ? You want loads to go then offer this last minute ? The one positive I can have a few beers on way down , which at the moment is probably the biggest requirement watching town.

Good to see everyone voting against us. It means we're more likely to win because Town never do anything that matches expectations

Since they came back up from League One, Ashton Gate has been as much of a graveyard as Deepdale. Just checked the H2H at their ground.
22/23 L 0-2 21/22 W 3-2 20/21 L 1-2 19/20 L 2-5 16/17 L 0-4 15/16 L 0-4
I think we're praying for 2/2 wins from our remaining home games to give us a fighting chance.
