I couldn't bear to watch the game today tbh so kept myself busy with a barbecue
I expected Wednesday to beat Stoke and they didn't...I expected us to lose at Bristol,,we didn't
The brum result wasn't great but we can sort that by beating them
All in all not a bad day for us...we are still in the fight..I have more optimism now than I have had all week
2 home wins and I reckon we will be safe

Putting Turton on, who has hardly played for a year, was an awful decision. He was over enthusiastic leaping into that challenge and giving that silly refa chance to make her important.

A magnificent effort overall and can't say the team didn't try. Football can be so cruel. If we can keep that effort up we will survive It was not a bad result SBP , if it had occurred at the start of the season it would have been welcomed , unfortunately we are in dire straits, and a draw was not good enough. I like your positivity, but I am convinced we are heading down to div3. I am not normally so negative , but I have seen relegation on the horizon for some time.

Bristol made their own luck. We cant get a last second penalty or score a goal because we are deep in our own box. Personally im fucking sick of watching us melt away and defend in our goalkeepers shorts. The game is played until the final whistle, whenever that is. You and I both know if we get the ball up the pitch and start fucking about with it etc she blows up earlier. The ball is anywhere near either goal and it goes on a bit longer. Play the game.. Stoppage time winners against Millwall and WBA away would suggest we can - just not frequently enough!

That’s not deliberate hand ball or a game warranting several minutes over the indicated time to be added on it’s a disgrace and should be take up with the EFL by the club you can’t let this shit happen and it’s not just this game it happens every week someone needs to make a stand rock the boat

Absolutely no chance and even if we did it wouldn’t be enough. We have won 9 games all season can’t see us all of a sudden getting back to back wins. We are down onto Stockport Wrexham & Mansfield next season!!!! Two wins would definitely be enough. I like your positivity runner76 thats why i gave it a like, im the optimistic sort too, its not over till its over.

The last two games have absolutely killed me. The capitulation on Monday, coupled with that decision at the end today, I’m shell shocked.

FFS that's harsh he has to try & block the cross. Exactly. We've been whining in recent games about our full backs not trying hard enough to block crosses which have lead to goals. Turton does his job and gets fucked over by a shite referee

Yes, rather than making a perfectly legal challenge to block the cross, he should have just let the ball be crossed into the box so instead you could have said he wasn't fit enough to block the cross. Awful take.

Today's 'result' could well leave us needing to go to Ipswich needing something no matter what happens against Birmingham and that's not really ideal. I certainly would expect Birmingham to go to Rotherham and get 3 points next week.

Maybe it's telling that 90mins after full time (give or take) we still haven't heard anything from AB (not that I've seen anyway). I suspect he's been spending time in the refs room.....

Had Ollie Turton not deliberatley handled the ball today (altho he didnt get booked) we would be in a much better place. And as for Matos clear foul on the Preston player last week...well. If we are going to continue to shoot ourseves in the foot then....

I'm happy with that performance actually and if we harness this angst we can use it for the next three games. AB needs to pin up her picture in the changing rooms and remind them we have been shafted today.
I expected us to lose today after being at Preston so would have been happy with a point
Weds and stoke is a decent draw and Brum I hope have peaked early.

I don’t know what you want me to say. I’ve explained today and I’m right. I watched it live and in my head the 5 started at 92.20. Their commentators even said something like ‘it’ll easily be 8 or 9 minutes extra due to all the stoppages’. After the game, their studio pundits said they didn't expect there to be that much time added on. And? My last post on this, check out the bbc live text The 5 starts at 90+2, so should end at 90+7. 90+5 we make a sub, so add 30 seconds 90+6 they have an injury, add 60 seconds. So full time is 98.30 at the earliest (that doesn’t include our time wasting) and it’s given a few seconds before that! For the record it’s a ludicrous decision. When you factor in the importance of the game and the time, it’s that bad there should be serious repercussions for her. I can’t blame her for not having blown up earlier though.

I could see it stretched legitimately to 6-7 minutes extra, but +10 minute penalty is sheer ineptitude or corruption imo.

Please tell the players were in her face arguing about the decision? Nope. Just seen it and nobody contesting it. I'd like to think AB was wagging his finger in her face after the final whistle as well. We should be absolutely outraged. I bet we just accepted it like church mice. Dunno but she booked Rudoni and Nicholls after giving it.

After 54 years, stay up or not, I think I've finally had enough. Tired of following a club where: a) the players earn a fortune yet can't do the basics or are unable to play 2 matches a week without being ill or injured b) there seems to be totally inadequate recruitment top to bottom c) the refs are incompetent week in week out and 90% of 50-50 refereeing calls go against Town. Is this game corrupt ?? I'm 63 years old and my blood pressure went through the roof at 4.55 (yet again !!). Following this team is hazardous to your health. I'm seriously asking myself now if it's worth it So agree with you. I am 69 and have decided that I can find better things to do on a Saturday afternoon rather than have my weekend ruined by players who can’t be arsed and officials that just make it up as they go along.

On way back from game and I’m absolutely gutted. The game should’ve blown up around the 97/98th minute and the latest, before the penalty was even given, but less said about that the better. It was shocking! Still two big games coming up but that was the most deflated I’ve been leaving a town game in a long time…

Normally I’d have gone to Bristol today but I’m awaiting a cataract operation this Thursday and aren’t keen to drive on unfamiliar roads at present, so went to Crawley v Colchester instead.
When I left the ground Town were winning, when I got to the car I checked the scores and it was 1-1. I shouted out loud in frustration, to nobody. Everything I’ve read since then just makes me sad.
And Sutton only drew whilst Col U won with two scandalous pieces of defending by Crawley. SU basically down.
I’m hating football right now. Hating it.
Sod it, time to go out for a meal with the wife.
UTT (am I mad?).

The decision will never be overturned (without VAR), so what is the point in arguing.
