I know we’ve talked before, but quick thoughts-
Easiest ways to pack the place for the next home matches?
Need realistic ideas to fill it up as much as possible and get loud and fully behind the lads.
Appreciate it

Start by getting a win tomorrow. Wins will encourage fans to turn up more than any other gimmick. Get safe before the Birmingham game and it could be a sell out.

Best of luck with this one Justasmithers. Best way would be a win at Bristol, but you did ask for the easiest way. My guess would be offers on price/kids etc as the quickest/easiest solution. Maybe a tab of acid on entry for adults so they think they’re watching something magical. A tab of the same for our forward line to help them find space in the box. UTT PS appreciate how you have become a stalwart supporter, and a voice of reason on this forum. Thanks.

Apparently it's Quid a Kid v Swansea. I'd suggest the same for Birmingham too. Other than that, honestly, win games and cheap tickets for those 2 games.

Get One Direction or some other boy band melts to play there. Only way the stadium will be full to see some useless overpaid pricks with questionable haircuts perform.

I think Walton has the realistic answer ie something you can't control is going to be the real incentive- points at Bristol City.
If we do pick up points discounted tickets will help. If that was married with a polite rallying call to the fanbase to get behind the team it may get a few more in.
If we could win tomorrow the fanbase has a history of being there when required, but the best incentive would be something to get behind.
I'm sorry if that's a little down beat but that's pretty much the bottom line right now.

My memory may be playing tricks on me but I seem to recall a lot of times in the past when we’ve had big crowds for important home games the result has gone against us. It’s also been the case when the players fly to a big away game On a more relevant note this late into the season it comes down to cold hard cash. Price reductions.

York City are doing a deal this weekend of £10 adults age 14-18/students £5 and under 14s free.
It's very close to a sell out for the first time at their new ground.
That sort of pricing will bring a fair few down to the stadium. If people buy for the Swansea game then they get the same deal for Brum?

If we got to the Birmingham game where a win would send them down - discounted tickets for Aston Villa supporters.

Crawley have done a “2 at £2” deal for all tickets. The second game in the package is v Colchester tomorrow and is currently 130 short of a complete sellout. The first game was v Doncaster a few days ago and they had their highest ever league crowd. Tomorrow could beat it.

School and university offers are the easiest Or offer tickets to local junior football teams Man City use their academy and facilities to grow their fanbase Part way down this article explains www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/longform_manchester_cold_warHere's the bit... “Ten years ago all our kids were in Manchester United or Liverpool shirts,” says Matt Wackett, who coaches the under-fives, sixes and sevens at Egerton Football Club in Cheshire, just south of Manchester's urban sprawl. “Now most of the kids are in Manchester City shirts. “We can be quite cynical about these clubs and the way they are going about seeking talent. The emphasis is on casting the net far and wide, of bringing in as much talent as possible that will then be funnelled down as the years go on, whittled down to half a dozen kids. They are looking for the best players to make their club better. But it's also about exposure within the community. That's going to inspire fans and grow the name and the brand.” City have recently invited Wackett to bring his under-fives in to their Etihad campus for a coaching session with their staff. That's 30 kids, of all abilities, some barely able to kick a ball. “It's an example of winning the hearts and minds of parents as well as the kids,” says Wackett. “They have to invest in the parents, because ultimately they're the ones who have to take the kids there once or twice a week. “City do that pretty regularly for clubs all around the north-west, invite groups in for a coached session, see the campus and its facilities. “It's become a real aspirational thing – 'I want to be in a Manchester City shirt'. It's very attractive to the kids. If the same kids were asked if they'd like to go into United, some of them, in a childish manner, would have gone, 'Urgh, no, we don't want to go there…'”

Free tickets to local schools is the way. You could do some dicsount ticketing as well but be prepared for some season ticket holders to be unhappy if they’re less than they pay

It's simple to fill the stadium. Getting everyone to engage in vocal backing the team is more difficult. Unfortunately.

The only problem I see with the free school tickets is your not bringing in the type of people that will generate an atmosphere (unless you provide clappers too maybe).
What about something like £5 per ticket and a free beer for everyone that arrives before 2o’clock, I would have thought the free pint money would be made back through people then being in the ground for longer buying more drinks.
Everyone should have their vocal chords well oiled, or it back fires and we’re scraping amongst ourselves before the games even started!

The best incentive ever used that I remember was: come and see Town score their hundredth goal on Saturday which they duly did in 1980. Obviously not applicable to today’s team. But I still see some sort of clarion call based on certainty of a Town positive performance is the best inducement rather than cheap tickets. Maybe we should promise to play five up top or Mr Nagle to announce cash prizes for goals with a huge bonus for a hat trick. God what I’d give for a Town hat trick.
