As mentioned above, the club cannot win. They have EFL rules to adhere to, plus they are a business (after all). We can’t ask for the opportunity and then throw it back at them. Personally I appreciate the opportunity to give DC some ideas to take to the club. Small things can help and tbh, grand gestures in the situation we’re in, maybe aren’t constructive? Run them from the get go in season 24/25. My take is make the season card more valuable. Add in benefits. Have a season card? You get 20% off a shirt, or 10% off anything in the shop, anytime. Friend for a fiver codes, free pie at Xmas or your birthday match. Free programmes. Stuff like that. Yes it’s gimmicky but it all helps. Give the kids a free shirt or something, make them WANT to be a Town fan of the future. Hell, my eldest Daughter went to a soccer school as a kid, met Terry the Terrier and Peter Clarke and loved it. She still cherishes the medal and signatures to this day! The bottom line though is a winning team puts bums on seats and gets money spent in the shop and kiosks. It might be tricky but if IF/WHEN we beat Swansea, get offers out to schools, make it cheap as chips for adults and fill the place for the Birmingham game. Make the place bounce. Open the fanzine early that day too but don’t take umbrage if the brown stuff hits the fan and we lose. If the players can’t handle playing in front of a vociferous crowd, one on their side, then it’s time for them to go. They’re meant to be professionals after all. Finally, as I’m a tight Yorkshire get, without a season card these days, I do find the £15 adult tickets a godsend when taking my two kids with me. We end up having a drink and food, and spending in the shop also. The club earns more that way that a more expensive ticket that would make me feel like holding back on the fodder and . This. Do Kirklees not run that "Soccer 7s" thing anymore in conjunction with the club? My godkids Owen and Lauren both got free merch on their 7th birthdays, discounted season ticket (may have even been free with mine n Dan's adult ST) and a "meet n greet" with Pav, Terry and some dwarfs player n mascot. Turned them both into avid (rabid? ) Town fans and both still attend (although not regularly) as adults to this day. Edit: Tried posting a pic of Owen with Pav, but can't seem to get it cut n pasted off my hard drive. The club (not kirklees) do a version of it. Its £25 for a Town shirt presented by Terry in fanzone with an adult and junior ticket for the game.

If town win on Saturday and Wednesday and Birmingham both lose then I’d expect a sellout for the Birmingham game as if we win it we stay up regardless of any other results. The Swansea game is massive for us and anything other than 3 points is unthinkable if we want to stay up.

I remember going to sports centre on a Saturday with a load of other kids. All young kids. Played football for an hour, had a sandwich then bus to Leeds Road to watch Town. Great days. May have been Terriers but can’t remember

Tried to buy kids ticket on my SC account this morning & wouldn't let me, not without purchasing another ticket on top (Adult/Senior).......Offer not apply to SC holders who pay up front?

Sorry I was wrong. Please note: Under 11s tickets must be purchased with a full paying Adult or Senior ticket. Each supporter can purchase a maximum of two Under 11 tickets per Adult or Senior attendee.

Maybe a better statement would be that EVERYONE boycots the last home game and we offer Brum 24k tickets......at least we wont have to suffer watching the utter shite that is called "football" each week. Next season it will be buy one get 10 free when we play some of the crap that is L1

This is just a natural return to the 12-13000 true loyal fans we have. A lot of the rest were simply glory fans who joined the gravy train to the premier league.

Disagree - we've done really well to maintain a healthy average since relegation but many loyal fans are now well and truly done. I think it's very easy to pass the blame to floating fans who came and went. The problem is much deeper.

So apart from £1 an Under 11, what exactly did you do Dave to get the JSS packed?

I don't think the £1 a kid was the best idea.
New children and parents don't add to the atmosphere and this would be the majority taking up the offer.
And with the potential that the crowd would turn (as it did) I didn't want this game to be my daughters first game and put her off for the foreseeable future.

The atmosphere doesn't make a jot of difference if the players are gutless and shambolic

Fair one, it would have been great if we won and the new fans saw what a great atmosphere we can produce. I'm looking at it with hindsight and been very depressed with our situation.

Not sure about packing the JSS but they certainly found a way to empty it ahead of schedule.

The atmosphere doesn't make a jot of difference if the players are gutless and shambolic It never has mate. The south stand have tried - but the utter pish served up most games has left their efforts looking weaker by the week and most of the rest of us resigned ourselves to league 1 weeks ago. There needs to be some decisive action taken this summer - without it KN can kiss goodbye to many season tkt holders. Many now replicating the actions of the players - simply cant be arsed anymore. The way the club has spunked its prem legacy is truly appalling.

Although it was advertised on the website, it wasn’t clear today that the small fan zone bar was offering half price booze. The prices hadn’t been updated so they were all shown as full price which may have put some people off, as might the weather. Probably for the best as there was only one person pulling drinks and it took a long time to get served. Can’t knock the club for trying this but if they’re gonna do this again, they need more staff.

That’s not correct at all. At all times there were 4 people serving. 2 pulling pints and 2 taking payments. The queue looked big but moved down very quickly. The staff were excellent and did a great job.

Would it be possible for the clubs media department to put out a lot of videos this week featuring fans asking for the players to turn up against Brum.

I went to the fan park yesterday, I'll be honest, it's not my cup of tea. Club should invest in either the gas club or ropewalk because it's crap standing in a car park suppin ale out of a plastic cup. Your right about the prices too. They had price lists printed on paper on the bars advertising the wrong prices, double what they actually were. Of course it will have deterred people from buying. If your having a sale and doing a really good offer then advertise it and shout about it Prefer going into town before/after games and drinking in a couple of different pubs each week, spreads the money around and helps with the 'community' aspect of the Town and football club supporting one another. Did like the stuff they put on for children though. Face painting, balloon making, flags and all for free! The youngsters enjoyed themselves despite the scoreline but they aren't interested in the stuff that really matters this time of year and thats league status.

The balloon man was quite a character, spoke to him quite a lot, he actually came from Chorley and a Chorley fc fan, his wife did the face painting, brings back happier memories of watching Town performances those days!!

They should sell tickets to look at the cheeks of the bagpipe player...utterly confounding, I'm not convinced he's human.

Another performance like the Swansea second half, and the atmosphere could turn volatile.
