I once saw Steve Mounie in the away end at the Emirates handing out gifts to kids nearby. I feel he was one of the good guys out of all those Premier League signings and I've got the upmost respect for him that he stayed here in the Championship and openly said that he didn't want to leave when he was transferred. We never ever played to the bloke's strengths, and he was far better than that other waste of space Depoitre. Yeah but Depoitre once knocked Maguire over then scored. Doesn't matter that he then sacked it off for 18 months and slagged us off when he left, just cos he hated the Canalside shitters. Plus he had a cracking song, smoked fags when pissed and disappeared off on a rickshaw with a mystery girl after the staying up party! |

Hang on the blokes a bellend quite obviously, but not sure why folk are pissing themselves over the bonus' "wages should be performance based" is what every fan says, he might not have done much personally but its a squad game and the squad acheived its remit. players like him can be very thankful to the likes of aaron mooy, but you want the squad to be all on the same page. it's the big money signings in the second season that fucked us, i've no problem with the money any of them got in the first season to be quite honest..... even PRITCHARD PL is big money and them getting cash for points still will have likely had the squad on less than the 4 teams below us i would guess its a bit more nuanced than he's suggesting in how the bonuses were distributed across a season I couldn't agree more about the bonuses. It made total sense. Unfortunately the podcast is there to be clipped and get views. Them going "wait, you were on half the wages the next lowest in the league got so that level of performance bonus makes sense" doesn't get those clicks. Them laughing at it does. Scott Malone was a shit player for us and crying about working 11-5 a couple of times a week sums him up. |
