Tremendous idea. Like was mentioned this has obviously been in the pipeline, no reason to bin it off just cause we’ve bottled it on the pitch.

Great idea, some excellent prizes but a lovely gesture in any case. I remember my name being read out at half time a few years ago asking me to contact the club about my exciting prize. I genuinely had no idea what it might be.... I was somewhat underwhelmed when it turned out to be a club tie! Not a bad prize. If you’re allowed to pass it on to a player of your choice, and as long as you’re allowed to ‘place’ it round their neck… 😉 “Substitute for Town at h/t, Burgzorg has had to be taken to A&E and will be replaced by…” |

I don't really have the words for this. What do you want them to do, just park everything until the team is better? I'd much rather the team was good believe me but this is hardly impacting that negatively. It seems they can't do right for doing wrong. |

A fantastic gesture but I think they should have held off on it for this season.
Doesn't feel right to be doing that when we have a very real chance of relegation.

It's the cost of a ticket, with considerably better odds than winning the lottery, of a trip to the USA. Around 1 in 20,000, assuming Brum supporters don't count. |

Great innovative thinking.
Of course the magnitude of the game deflects from this gesture but they would have planned this to take place at our last home game of the season weeks ago.

Is it who sits in the seat drawn,or who has the ticket for that seat dya think? I think they should make that clear before the draw! I've had a season ticket for years but often sit elsewhere to be nearer mates like a lot of people do. Its a nice gesture but at completely the wrong fixture as I said before. I would hate it to cause even more problems for them,can just see folk arguing over a Nintendo Switch 'cos they're in the wrong seat... |

I hate any sort of fix: Look, most competitions are fixes these days. Buy the product, pay to enter the code, the code may or not be a selected winner, the selected winner may go to a code that someone doesn't even text in. Bloody awful, and before anyone asks, they used to be fair. I've won two cars with slogans, five holidays, and numerous other household items. Mostly they were judged fairly, though M&S had a habit of just pulling them out of a hat, to the point of them not even making sense, or not even sticking to the word limit, as in 17 words in a 15 word max slogan. ( The judges decision is final... worse than your average pub quiz.) In case anyone thinks I'm Oti, mark 2, mind I believed everything he said, this was one I won a white MG Metro Turbo with from the then Texas Homecare and Dulux paint. I have a photo of us with one of the Dulux dogs and the car presentation. Anyway all they had to be, was original, they never as far as I know, used the slogans I buy Dulux at Texas because, "I.C.I. to eye with their quality and price" ( the first bit being the intro, 10 words or less, and that is TEN words) All it cost you was buying the product, which of course you could use, the entry form, till receipt and a stamp. No con at all. I lost a comp for a Renault 5 in the days of the "Snoopy" adverts on TV, because you had to name your 5. I chose Maradonna, because it scores on handling, and it's boots a winner, but the winner called theirs,"Spy" because it's MI5. I deservedly didn't win. With slogans, the briefer the better. Just do it FAIRLY, whatever anyones comments on here. |

Then, it's not a competition is it? Give the guy a break, I'm sure season tickets will be priced accordingly, depending on what division we're in, and what money is spent on players. All of which is nothing to do with us, it's his money. |
