Wagner will likely be available if Norwich don’t go up through playoffs. Not for me as think we need a new start and stop relying on the past, but an interesting one nonetheless I would carry him on my back from Norwich. I’ll help you!

Reckon this’ll be slim pickings for Town now. 7 managers in 2 seasons, who in their right mind would want this job? I'll give it a try. I've got no idea what the fuck I'm doing so I would probably be a good pick!!

Kev said there was a contingency plan
It's probably someone who has already been interviewed previously
Danny rohl was overlooked first time around at Sheffield Wednesday for the job but got it second time around and look how he turned out

Neil or Duff for me because 8/10 with a decent budget should be up there, playing it relatively safe I guess.

Well, that’s over. And over quickly, so we all know where we stand. Think it’s been handled as well as it could have been. Thinking space given, used, and resolved within a week of the end of the season.
Now who to get. I’m not entirely sold on Grant McCann. He’s someone who does get results, whose teams score a lot of goals and play entertaining football but - and this is what so many fans won’t be prepared to do - he needs time. He also has a streaky tendency, with both winning and losing. Not saying no, though.
So who is available? Michael Duff? Nigel Pearson? A highly-rated coach looking for their first number one job? I think we’d be attractive to any of those, particularly the latter. A chance to start with a relatively blank canvas and impose coaching ideas on his team. If that is the case, we need them in as soon as possible to help recruitment and build his team.
I don’t want anyone in particular. I just want some stability and direction. And for the new man to be given time.

Spend whatever is required to bring in a big name manager that will command respect in the dressing room. Plus, It’ll then be way way cheaper , and much easier to recruit players -And let’s face it we need quite a few if we are to reverse the recent decline. !

The pressure on the owners and directors now must be immense. They can't afford another failure.

What are they hoping will happen by being that way?

I don’t buy all this toxic culture stuff. A lot of this has just been Andre’s narrative as he tried to save his reputation with a pretty see through attack on players, his employers, even previous managers.
We were shit under Moore but it’s wasn’t a toxic culture. We just didn’t win enough. He was too defensive but his squad was bare bones a lot of the time.
I think we need someone up and coming who sees the positives of our squad - at league one level- and who’s happy to lead them in a successful season, culminating in promotion back to the championship.
We need a motivator who can coach and improve players. Someone who can relate to them and get the best out of them. Yes we need discipline but we need the players engaged, motivated and feeling positive about the upcoming season.

KN has been consistent in his message, he is here for the long term and he wants success. To find a management set up that fits with his vision might take some time but as long as he is willing to fund the search we move on. We’re so used to thinking short term. Let KN and his team get on with it.

Seen Bellamy mentioned a couple of times.
I thought he was under rated as a player but he had a real competitive nature.
I was surprised how measured and articulate he was in a recent interview.
Probably lives in Manchester already, he’d be a very exciting appointment for me.
