No one seems to take any responsibility at all. The owner blames Warnock, the manager blames Warnock and the players then claims he’s too good to manage at a lower level, the players collectively shrug and say “it wasn’t my fault, I’m too good to play third tier football”. Meanwhile Edwards, Cartwright et al have avoided any blame, half the players are in Dubai loving the footballer’s lifestyle without working hard at doing their jobs.

Should Dave Challinor be in the running? Amazing record with Stockport, just a matter of whether he's experienced enough to sort out the mess Yes. Apparently interviewed for the Charlton job last time (did he apply for ours?). I think he might come - even though they're now in the same division. Has a record of turning around teams and three promotions.

What's increasingly clear is that whoever is appointed as our new Head Coach is going to have a huge job on their hands sorting out our playing squad. I am still incredibly angry with many (many) of our players, particularly those that have put in more than their fair share of poor performances and regularly displayed poor attitudes, made the sort of mistakes you simply can't make at Championship level. And just because AB has decided to leave, it in no way invalidates his scathing comments about some of the players. T he common denominator during 2 years of struggles is the players. They are, for me, the ones I hold primarily responsible for our relegation. Yes, mistakes have been made elsewhere, but we have been so insipid and substandard on the pitch. Half-arsed chasing back, continuous misplacing of simple passes, awful shooting, knackered after 60 minutes. No pride in their profession, not worth the cost, not representing the town, not fit to wear the shirt. For those of you who are on social media, you can visit Delano Burgzorg's Instagram profile and see his most recent "Goodbye" post. For those of you who aren't, here's what it says: Burgzorg: "Last words Della. Thanks for the support this season doesn’t matter how you treat me in the last weeks, I always be thankful and always gave a 💯 procent. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it at the end, but htafc will be back stronger.🙏🏽💙. All the best in the future terriers UTT❗️. PS: Don’t believe everything what you hear if you don’t see it whit your own eyes, when the heat is on…. You should stick together not walk away from it ……" Bizarre. So, of course, it's very clear that Burgzorg is responding to Breitenreiter... suggesting that us fans shouldn't believe what we hear, and base our conclusions on that which we see. Unfortunately for Burgzorg, I think he may have forgotten that we have indeed 'seen'. Seen way too many of his atrocious displays, his inability to control or pass the ball, his very clear lack of understanding that football is a team game. Oh wait, it gets worse... The post was interacted with by Sorba Thomas "Facts written there brother good luck see you soon."; and Rudoni, Kasumu, Spencer, Koroma and Headley all commented with love hearts. Now, what pisses me off most is that none of those players have publicly acknowledged the fact that Town have been relegated. Not an ounce of responsibility has been taken. No apologies, no acceptance of their role in a serious failure. They are, however, quick to appear in order to back up one of the main culprits for disharmony within the squad, and the a player that is perhaps the most selfish I have ever seen in blue and white. I'm so sorry for rambling on about this, but I think in amongst all the discussion about whether AB will stay or go, or, who will replace him, we're forgetting about the mammoth task of overhauling the squad. Not only because it's full of technically limited footballers, but because there are far too many idiots too. I am so desperate to see a squad of players turn out on Saturdays that have the best interests of the club at heart, and take a bit of pride in wearing the shirt. Totally agree with all of this. Although Spencer has tweeted an apology

The clubs 'expecting' to have a new manager within a week. We've heard that one before. Within 4 weeks is more likely We may name a new manager and see him disappear for a month on holiday.

They can all go for me. Thomas for one has been a ringleader in this mess. Headley, Rudoni, Kasumu and Spencer clearly influenced by our very own Laurel and Hardy. Koroma always looks a spade full of a full deck. See you later knobbers.

An ex player on the coaching team... Unless one of your "sources" has told you Collins played for us once.. Doesn't take a genius to work out that he clearly was on about Jon Stead. So we can't have a link to any player that's ever played for us ever? It's not like he's the manager ffs

"He knows the club" always makes me laugh. What, he knows where it is? Nice one. I know the club too, can I have a job? To be fair, with some of the fucking idiots that HAVE had it in the last few years later, I'll probably be in with a shout.

His assistant has been Jon for his last two clubs doesn't necessarily mean he'd come. Barnsley fans seemed pretty happy to see him go, I can't remember too many grumbling when Robins left.. It's absolutely laughable to have people crying about ex players whe Will Still who's come from playing in Europe is on the list

Will Still, don't make me laugh. No-one would have ever heard of him if he hadn't been a Facebook meme 18 months ago. No-one crying here about ex players, I'm actually laughing my head off at all the people who can't suggest a name for the new manager without having to go through a list of our ex players. Numerous out of work managers, and indeed in work managers, and the best some people can come up with is Michael Hefele. It's hilarious.

Not a popular choice, but we could do a lot worse than bring the Cowleys back. They’ve experienced our shitshow of a club and given the right resources and power over Carthorse they might do a decent job of it.

The best option with recent league one experience is Michael skubala the Lincoln manager
He is very highly rated - I’d be shocked if he wasn’t on the list - he hasn’t been mentioned on here

I suppose we are in a (desirable?) situation for a new manager coming in. We need 4 or 5 first team players and there will be money to recruit these. That means anyone coming in can mould the core of the team with their own players. We aren't confined to a particular style of play with the squad we have. We are in effect starting again and I think that will appeal to a lot of managers either in or out of work.
