So some people are still clamouring for Rhodes, but don't understand Hogg. Baffling. Rhodes is not the answer, get over it. Hogg, makes sense if it is a Whitehead role. Only plays when needed. Retained list is probably spot on. This. If we're retaining Hogg with the intention of him playing 90 minutes every week then I agree, but I just can't see us doing that. If we only buy one player it should be a central midfielder. If we only sign two, it should be another central midfielder.... I can't see us not building a new midfield this summer. Hogg will be a fringe player and club captain. |

What it will do is give us strength in depth, a leader and more importantly someone who knows what it feels like to get promoted wearing a Huddersfield Town shirt. I'd have kept him and Rhodes for the same reasons. |

He did come to mind but no i have Duhaney at number one. to be fair tho to Duhaney, against Jota that night he really did do ok and i thought we had a promosing right back. He clearly proved not to be good enough, but that night he was good. |

He did come to mind but no i have Duhaney at number one. to be fair tho to Duhaney, against Jota that night he really did do ok and i thought we had a promosing right back. He clearly proved not to be good enough, but that night he was good. Didn’t he only play the first half that game? |

Didn’t he only play the first half that game? first 60 minutes i think, but i thought he did very well . As we now know, he wasn't good neough, but in that game you think well maybe he can make it. |

Heard Hogg’s got another year, JK & DW were told they could find another club. LN leaving for personal reasons, JR/ ST fell out with AB but situation may well have changed now. TL injury is believed to be pretty bad, so question marks around him. I'm still trying to work out the initials. JR... Jordan Rhodes or Josh Ruffels. Sorry Rudoni |

I thought Myles Bright & Ben Midgley were highly rated? Think they've had a lot of injuries but Midge will be able to confirm Not quite sure what happened with Myles- I know he was advised quite early that he was not getting a new contract. Ben has indeed been on injured for most of this season, the worst being an ankle ligament reconstruction. Who knows what would have happened if not but that's football I guess🤷🏼 |

OK we are have of different vies on players.IMO I would have given Rhodes another year ( as a advert for the game totally professional) I accept only as a sub but could be just what we need from time to time I would have and will be delighted if anyone comes in for Ward who has stolen wages long enough and is ,if I am to believe what I have heard? Is the rudest and most arrogant of people. I’m no fan of Ward but I’ve met him personally and professionally and he’s neither rude or arrogant. Theres a lot to question about him on the last 12 months and believe me I’m far from happy with him and his contributions but I can tell you he isn’t how you’ve described. |

Where’s this number (13) come from? I had to sense check myself then  From Town's website: "With a desire to overhaul the complexion of our First Team and B Team, a number of contracted players have also been made available for transfer, and discussions with their representatives have already taken place. Should they depart, each will leave the Club with our best wishes for the future. Finally, 13 players across our B Team and U19 groups will not be offered new contracts and will now also depart the Club." So a slight mix-up on my part. Might just have been wishful thinking that 13 of the bone idle bar stewards have been offered the chance to sod off. |

I've had my issues with ankle injuries, a proper pain in the arse as it causes problems right up the chain once you're not moving properly because of it |

35 year old Hogg was still one of our better players last season and no doubt will probably still win the bleep test in preseason, and people don't think he can hack league one? Just picture Hoggy lifting that league one trophy then announcing his retirement. Perfect 👌🏼 Doesn't that set alarm bells ringing for you? About Hogg no, about the others yes, it's those not fit enough and with less desire we should be moving on. |

I’m no fan of Ward but I’ve met him personally and professionally and he’s neither rude or arrogant. Theres a lot to question about him on the last 12 months and believe me I’m far from happy with him and his contributions but I can tell you he isn’t how you’ve described. Yet Ben, a chap i sit next to week in week out. Meets Mr Ward at the school gates daily and some of the things Ward has told him would shock you , i would asume!
1. I wont be playing Man city - as i will fake injury
2. Non of the players don't like Sorba Thomas
3. I aren't injured, the tenditis is an easy cope out, when i dont' want to play ? 4. All the players thought Darren Moore was a nice guy, but a complete idiot, we tried not to laugh thorughout his meetings ?
Ward for me is another guy we could well do without.

I’m not disputing we could do well without, just not agreeing he’s rude or arrogant. No disagrement, that your a well informed poster mate, but Ward will happily sit on his wages and not play if that is what is needed. I don't think his heart is in it, more than just getting the money in as it were . |

Danny Ward shares things like that at the school gates? Come on, why on earth would he do that? There’s every chance, as you have just shown, that those comments would turn up on social media. No way he would share anything like that. |

I’m not disputing we could do well without, just not agreeing he’s rude or arrogant. I’ve heard things from him too, admittedly second hand, but my first thought is always, it’s not helpful and why doesn’t he keep his mouth shut? |

No way he would share anything like that. He would as he doesn't seem to care mate, 7k a week on a 2 year contract. He doesn't need to play jsut be paid. Remember players are human beings, lips slip and when you don't care either way, as you have gaurnteed money and all that. Remember during his interviews this season alone, he has yawned his way through them , which tell you as much. |
