Most likely scenario is that all is agreed with the player and town confident they will eventually agree a fee but no rush to get it done. Similarly Charlton want to find their replacement so everyone is happy with the status quo

I'm here until 5:30 We're only subbies to LKW mate, AD&H Transport in Bradford is our firm. We do day and night driving, trampers, local, Scotland, south, pretty much all UK really. We've got 12 drivers doing Walter deliveries at the moment, plus the three directors (brothers) who drive to cover any extras and holidays. It's Walter that'll lose out though; we'll still get the full day rate, plus extra if our driver has to stay overnight, cushty |

We don't, we seem to have them coming out of our ears, we've got a waiting list for when one of ours leave. I don't know if it's because we pay a decent wage, provide paid-for branded clothing, pay for the cab microwave, try to limit overnights and a load of other benefits, but we never have trouble replacing a driver. Most of our drivers (employed and self-employed) get between £850 and £950 per week, £20 a night allowance with (I think) a meal thrown in. Our Xmas meal this year cost £1500 and then the brothers paid for drinks after which came to about £400, all out of their own pockets. My boss used to be my office underling at our previous firm, but nothing's changed attitude-wise since becoming his employee. Edit: on top of the LKW work we also do Expect deliveries for (believe it or not) Card Factory |

Cazorla that quite recently admitted he struggled physically in the Spanish 2nd division but finishing his career at his home town club on the lowest wage they could legally pay him.

Nothing against May at all, but to spend 1m on someone who, if we get promoted, has never been at level could turn out to be not good business. All ifs and buts. But it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't get him. |
