I don’t think he will be sending his kids to a school in Small Heath and drinking in the Garrison somehow.

How much weekly wage do you think Town were offering? If it was,say,£8k pw..so May gets after tax £1k pw more but has to live and send his kids to school nr Birmingham? Has he really thought this through? After tax 😂 Most footballers are paid into offshore accounts.

3 year deal for somebody who turns 31 tomorrow. Personally I think we need a support striker more than a poacher.
Would have been a statement of intent (and is one for Birmingham!) but I'm not hugely bothered about missing out on this one.

God knows what they do with him on 20k a year in the championship when he isn’t good enough with two years left.

Yeah but his kids could qualify as brain surgeons but still sound thick as fuck if they picked up Brummie accents.

Not as good as Dartford Grammar which will be one of the ones his kid didn't get into. Meaning he needed more money to send them private. His new increased wage will cover fees + VAT.

The most crazy thing about this is they've given him a 3 year contract.
If they get promoted this season his wage will rise as part of a promotion clause so will be north of £20k. 2 years of paying him £20k+ to sit on the bench in the championship is mental.
It's like winning the lottery for him. I bet he couldn't believe it when his agent told him

Went to the T20 last night. Yorkshire v Birmingham..
Fair play to the Birmingham fan who had arranged a birthday message for Alfie May over the Tannoy which got read out in both innings. Wanker 😂

Wanker 😂 Hahaha that's the kind of shithousery I can fully get behind 😂 Even though historically they've been a bit of a pain in our arse there has always seemed a good level of banter between both clubs' fans. The "Leaky Blinders" thing from our Twitter admin a couple of years ago still stands out. Hopefully we can get the last laugh over them this season.

That was only spoilt by the admins arse falling out and they deleted it
