He’s sighed, Herbie is a terrier 💪 Was it a sigh of relief?

Happy with signing. He can pass 5 yards ✅ that’s something we haven’t got in midfield. Can get his head up ✅ that’s something our midfielders can’t do. Needs a rocket up his backside, assume Duff will do that
Only thing Im noticing is the transfers are free or cheap with limited residual value for the years to come.
Would like Kev to invest in some decent prospects and shed some of dead wood we’ve got

Take the signings on their merit, not on their financial value. These are 3 good signings, albeit unsure more on the Mikel one, and should be treated as such. Don’t forget Arsenal we’re going to pay £60m for Solanke 😉

Funny how some are labelling him as lazy and can’t be arsed, yet his old manager wants him back. Guarantee he won’t have been lazy if that’s the case. Billing was lazy according to many, even though he topped all our other midfielders for distance run, tackles, headers won etc etc. Like you say, if Duff wants him having managed him before, then he wont be lazy.

very pleased with the signing, good age, knows the manager well and will know his standards. if he has a decent season and develops more with us then no reason he might not be worth a decent fee in 12 or 18 months. good piece of business. i suspect we will start seeing some outgoings as well soon. Three decent looking signings so far for this level, plus I think we will see some of the players that struggled last season come good this season at a lower level.

Out of the 3 signings so far, this one captures the imagination the most.

He looks like Phil Collins. He would have been announced yesterday but he wanted to stay at Barnsley for One More Night.

Talented, lazy, no heart for a fight, not mobile, good enough for Champ, will not be missed, will be a big miss, great on his day, downed tools when didn't get his move. Just pick any of those at random and it will cover pretty much every opinion I have read on him. And for a bit of balance, the other side of their opinions.... - Good player, especially on a free. Could come back to bite us. - Baller. He could do to us for Town what Hammill did to us for Town. - I'd have been delighted if he'd have re-signed for us. However he's doing the next best thing and contributing to huddersfield going bust. - He’s been excellent these past two seasons & would’ve been a key player the season before as well if we hadn’t loaned him out to play Benson, Styles, Palmer & Gomes ahead of him. No idea why he gets stick off of some of our fans. Very rarely misses a game & always puts a shift in. Never goes hiding on the pitch & always shows for the ball. A quality footballer. This sounds exactly the player we need if that report is true about him wanting the ball. This signing is clearly down to Duff. I hope he is repaid. We absolutely had to have a new centre midfield this season.

Wiles was a huge disappointment, but it wasn't all that long ago Kompany was about to spend a few million on him. Hopefully with a decent preseason and drop in division he'll find his way back. Kasumu was a fans favourite in League One too.

Good signing, a decent ball playing midfielder was a more important target than a new striker IMO so I'm pleased.

Is he a similar type of player to Wiles? Or the player used to be before he came to us anyway.

Could be the new Ian Banks. Seem to remember we got him from Barnsley too. Slightly tubby looking too with a cracking shot on him. Hopefully the CM we've needed for the past two seasons.
