Seen him play a couple of times at Barnsley... Good player. Better than Wiles He only needs to be bang average to be better than Wiles.

I'm hoping Wiles has a really good pre season, and if we can get him and Herbie playing well, thats a decent ball playing midfield. Wiles was a huge disappointment, but it wasn't all that long ago Kompany was about to spend a few million on him. Hopefully with a decent preseason and drop in division he'll find his way back. Kasumu was a fans favourite in League One too. Wiles was carrying an injury all last season. Fingers crossed the summer break has solved that and he starts the new season the player we know he is.

If he had an injury, surely they would have just given him the time needed last season to get it sorted and rehabilitate. 5 or 6 weeks break isn't going to have suddenly fixed something if it was holding him back as much as we would like to believe. I think it's something which he is just going to have to accept and that's the way he is now. Unfortunately Rotherham saw us coming

He would have been announced yesterday but he wanted to stay at Barnsley for One More Night. Against all odds, he spent another night in paradise. I felt this one coming in the air last night.

I hope he's not walked in to a Land of Confusion....I know that's a Genesis song but it'll do.

Wonder if there was other interest that he has turned down due to Him and Duff having a groovy kind of love going on

Thoughts on who would be the fastest between Herbie and Wiles?

Thoughts on who would be the fastest between Herbie and Wiles? Herbie is a rocket but Wiles would win by miles

Fitter and in a position he his more comfortable with will hopefully also increase his confidence

Comes over as a confident guy with a bit of a rough edge which again will suit L1. As many have mentioned it’s about signing players to get us out of L1 and the ones so far seem to fit the bill.

A lot of Barnsley fans say he’s slow as fuck, like running whilst towing a caravan, and he loves a sideways pass and has no personality at all.
They also say on his day, he’s one of the best midfielders in the league.

Thoughts on who would be the fastest between Herbie and Wiles? The snail. You'd think that if a snail took off it's shell it would be able to move much faster but actually, when they do, they look more sluggish.
