Funny one this. Last season, 41 appearances, 9 goals and 5 assists, but Barnsley have released him. Can't see anywhere he was offered another contract. He did get 12 yellow cards, which is no mean feat. Anyone know why a seemingly good player was let go?

He wasn’t let go, he chose to leave. Either because he has a move lined up or because he thinks he can get better wages/better club.
Derby have been rumoured so I am sure he will turn up as a larger club than Barnsley.

There doesn't seem to be any problem from them with him going, which seems weird given his record, but if he has decided to leave then you can see why his attitude would be an issue for them. I wonder what Duff makes of him. We may soon find out. |

Just stuck it in my reg checker at work and it comes back as a grey range rover velar. Could be a legit sighting or it could just be someone with HRB as their initials? Kane is a free agent who did very well under Duff so I'd be surprised if their wasn't any interest. |

This is exactly the type of signing I was hoping we'd make. A top L1 player with good pedigree and potential to play higher in the position we've been desperate to strengthen for about three seasons! And the manager knows him well. Hopefully an even better signing than May would have been.
