If we only took 10k to Wembley that would prove our tinpottness as a club and we could no longer claim to have great fans. Weโve done Wembley a fair few times and a trip isnโt cheap but weโd probably take near to or over 20,000 . But football is all about generating interest , sometimes a club thrives with how it plays on the pitch and great vibes off it . We took over 36000 for the reading playoff final because the above was spot on, it makes me cringe when I see folk being so negative about our supporters when they are supporters. UTT . You know town fans have followed the club through thick and thin, why be so negative about the fans when you know dam well the club would take far more than 10000. Tinpot yourself. When was the Thick of which you speak?๐

According to the Birmingham Mail, the draw for the last 32 is pencilled in for Friday 22nd November. No indication of what time though. I take it we'll be away, due to finishing 2nd? Looking at last season's competition, it does look like all the group winners were at home so I would assume we will be away from home.

I wonder what the crowd at Bradford was tonight, it must have been at least 12/13,000.

Right, so if we can't have Bradford kn the next round, Morecambe will do fine, they were absolutely crap earlier on so we'll have an easy passage in to the next round.

Its also a game that is part of the TV package that Sky have and taking it to 3pm on a Saturday would make it un-broadcastable. Of course there will be little to no interest for TV viewers outside of the two clubs but that doesn't change fact that it would be an issue.

Just reading the link, so let's get this right, it says it regionalised up to the quarter finals. Does that include the quarter finals? If not, we could potentially end up with a long slog down south, Exeter say, for example? If so, that's outrageous.

Not really. They dropped off a cliff as soon as PL U21 teams came in. The attendances in the non league version where they might play Sunderland U21s for example are also pathetically low

I would go to Morecambe because i have never been to their ground and that is the only reason, the other 3 forget it.

And yet you have the neck to call out someone for being 'loud and lewd'. Look in the mirror, mate.

Two of the four we could now draw Wrexham & Bolton are both out the FAC also. For a crowd of around 5k or less you surely don't need a great deal of notice possibly?........Ties currently set to be played on Tues 10th Dec. With Wycombe away rearranged on the earliest date of Tuesday January 7th, Town could find themselves on the road four times in eleven days if they are drawn away in the next round on Jan 14th with Shrewsbury (11th) & Blackpool (18th).......Bit surprised we have agreed to this?

A couple of years ago the 2nd round EFLT game Exeter v Pompey was played on a Saturday (FAC 3rd round date)......If both teams want it I suppose all they can do is ask the EFL.
