I took from that rightly or wrongly next preseason is potentially gonna be in the US of A. Start saving. Nope I took from that Kevin's a little pissed off by the poor/late detaliled plan of our pre-season tour and that next season fans will know well in advance of who & where we are playing.

And still no sign/mention of a home pre season fixture 3 weeks on Saturday (3rd Aug) which seems odd when just about every club up & down the land have a game on this date........Maybe an opponent is lined up, we do seem to leave it late in the day to let fans know.

Why aren’t links to this on the official site?….. It's probably not deemed official club communication despite it coming from the chairman

Could someone please provide a link to these video diaries? Thanks for that. I wrongly assumed they’d feature in the HTAFC YouTube channel and was getting frustrated.

How good is being told directly by the owner that we are going to sign a new striker? Can’t think many clubs have this level of direct communication.

Could someone please provide a link to these video diaries? Got to say they both come across as really open and genuine There's times when KN has to watch his words, e.g. the Stadium, but that just shows professionalism in term of getting the balance right with what he can say and what he needs to remain confidential Good interviews and other have said before I can't remember any Town owner being the transparent on such a regular basis. Really good stuff

When you are in Austria, maybe Kev can interview you? Switch it up a bit, then he can ask you “one” more question 😁 Haha that’s what I alluded to at the end. It’s actually a bit of an inside joke that we’ve brought out. For years we’d be on the phone, and one of us would say something like “I got one more thing”. Then we’d ask the one more thing, and if we then followed up the other would say “I BELIEVE THATS TWO THINGS SIR” and the other would have to wear it.

Lol, I love the banter between the two of you, shows you are both normal and down to earth guys, which certainly helps with fan connection. I personally don’t have X (twitter) so I appreciate those who take the time and trouble to post these interviews here on DATM.

Thought it was interesting on Austria from Kev
It was a thought of AB to go into a remote location and focus on training and togetherness. Said it’s something like 1.5 hrs away from a major airport.
I was suprised we announced it when AB was sounding off and getting alittle flaky in taking responsibility for anything.
I thought we would just knock it on the head when AB no longer here. Fresh manager in and a fresh pre season plan.
The trip away was great under Wagner but obviously Wagner was running it, not a prev managers suggestion.
Just find it interesting

My Mackem mate said the fans were hoping for a home game on August 3rd but the pitch may not be ready after summer concerts, they play Blackpool on Sat 27th (5300 tickets) & Bradford on Tues 30th (4000)........Expect they will fill the South stand & the pubs, also Town on for a treble, ha.

You're right, it won't attract Town fans, playing a team we've played the last couple of seasons.

The game at home to Sunderland in February was one of Town better ones & one I enjoyed, they have some useful players in Hume, Ballard, Bellingham & of course Clarke & you would expect under the new manager will be pushing for a play off place......Bradford have prices from £2-£10, with cash turnstiles at similar prices we could be filling half the JSS (Black cats should bring around 4k).

Why are the bastards dragging their feet?

Don’t quite get Elton John tbh each to their own but give me a front man any day of the week, Freddie, jacko, James brown any guitar bands. My old man before he passed was a big elvis fan and even though I don’t like his music he could sing and entertain.

I think the club has offered up season ticket holders to got watch a training session and the QA session with staff One of the things I wanted was the club to open its doors to training sessions now and again There hasn’t been a lot of positivity (I’ve challenged Kevs team in its decisions plenty) and it’s mainly the happy clapper bunch. Credit where it’s due 👏👏, I think this will help improve fan involvement outside of match day and improve connections with the club Further info: www.htafc.com/news/2024/july/10/kickstart-your-season-with-our-terriers-training-experience/
