Can you watch the game on demand at a later time if you can’t watch it live? Just checked, and it's not up yet. Used to be a day later I think, but I'll have a look tomorrow to see if there's a re-run Thanks mate, I’m going to need that functionality this season, league one is a bit of a stretch to watch at 3am when I’ve got to be at work the next day.

Today proved that we should now retire "How shit must you be, we're winning away." It's nowt to do with the opposition being shit, we're just good! I always encourage fans to make some noise. But that chant annoys the fuck out of me.

Anyone still think I’m crazy for backing us for the title? That depends on the odds you got? I’ve actually forgotten but I will check. £100 it was. I remember we were like 5th or 6th and that’s was too low down. I’m one of those who thought our squad wasn’t that bad.

I'm not sure today was as much a case of Posh being shit/below par as some are suggesting. I think after a 'settling in' period we absolutely nullified them with our press and energy. For 10 minutes at the start of the second half they were barely able to get the ball out of their own penalty area; which pretty much killed them off. We looked really fit and physically robust today, which is another massive change from last season.

Well deserved win, we looked decent going forward but I'm still a bit worried about the lack of pace at the back, hope we can sign another defender before the end of the month. UTT

Just got back from the game and it would be easy to get carried away. I haven’t enjoyed a game like that since Cov and Boro away in the play off season under Carlos.
Seriously despite getting off to a great start I’d take a top half finish if we have more days like that this season. Obviously would love more, but just going to make the most of enjoying it when it is like this after some difficult years recently.
I feel Duff and the way he will set us up is a good match for Town fans. There were some nice moves and periods of play but loved the press and being competitive, players fighting to win the ball.
Well done today Town. UTT

Have to say, Mikel Miller is a far better player than I thought he'd be. Excellent today, along with Evans, Lees, JK, Wiles (after his assist) Sorensen and Kas when he came on. As predicted by others when we bought him he'll get a collection yellow cards. So we might be missing him for a few games along the way.

And whilst we are at it… ‘Said name’ is a shithole, I wanna go home. Needs to be relegated to the bin. Let’s get some more original, positive songs going. South stand loyal work your magic this season.

The "football in a library" one was weird, given that at some points today they were out singing us.

Good performance today.First 20/25 minutes a better side might have caused us more problems and had us behind but once we scored much the dominate side. Evans good, wiles ok but big contribution, thought Hogg bang average.Others of note were koroma who looked lively with no end product,Healey very much out of the game, miller settled after the team did.Kane and Kasumu good on coming on. Good win happy days let’s get Taylor in and crack on….I’d also add that for Stevenage and Shrewsbury as iv previously mentioned i wouldn’t bother with Hogg or Kasumu but play Kane wiles and evans

Evans will prove to be a really good player for us. Was impressed with him from the off when I saw him pre-season at Harrogate Town and he was good again today. A future fans favourite too I reckon.

2-0 up away from home against a historic bogey team and folk moaning still, never change town fans And don't forget town fans singing 'how shit must you be we're winning away' when we went 1 up Baffling

Just listened to Duff's interview (as I've only just walked in the front door - thanks LNER!) and it's very refreshing to hear a manager talk in the way that Duff does. He doesn't talk about how good the opposition are, or continually talk his own team down like some of our previous managers, it's all about us and our strengths and he comes across as a winner.
It's so refreshing to hear a manager talk coherently instead of "Erm erm erm erm erm erm erm erm" under Moore or "they're all shite but it's nowt to do with me" under Breitenreiter.
Yes it's the first game and it's early days but Warnock-aside, Duff is the first manager in donkeys years that seems confident in what he says and is actually coherent and I've not heard a manager speak so coherently in years. It's brilliant to hear a manager that isn't trying to dazzle us with jargon.
Early days, but I think he's going to do well here.

Just watching the extended highlights. Why was Helik's goal ruled out? He doesn't appear to be offside at any point ....
Seems a perfectly good goal to me.

All I can think of after watching it several times is that it’s not helik who is offside but Healey (I think) who goes in for the ball with the keeper and doesn’t make contact with the ball but does collide with the keeper so could be deemed as interfering and Healey was offside when the ball was played

Or a working class club with working class values, or the smallest club ever to walk onto a football pitch etc etc. Glad we’re leaving all the weird positioning behind and just focusing on being a good football team, proud of who we are and where we’re from. I’ll get me whippet.

Loved that yesterday. Absolute polar opposite to anything we have seen for many years. High risk/ high reward football in the first half. Despite leaving them with that option to go long and get in behind, we didn’t panic and drop deep. We continued to press very high, pass quickly and try the risky balls. Admittedly some players just need a bit more composure at times but I was so impressed with how we didn’t revert back to our old ways. Second half was the most control I think I’ve seen us have of a game since…. 16/17? We defended well, we kept the ball well, we pushed on for more goals. It’s a million miles from the defeatist crap we have been served up for the last few years. Thought Wiles and Evans were excellent and every sub we made strengthened our grip on the game. Might just be me but also thought Kasumu was really good when he came on.
It’s so nice to see my team play like that and long may it continue!

Loved that. The press, energy and physicality was beautiful to see, they had some decent footballers but we dominated them and utterly pinned them back. 6/7 right on them in their half. Baffling and rather egotistical tactics from them to keep trying to play out.
Whilst we were sloppy on the ball at times, need to be more clinical and were open to the counter, it was a very encouraging performance. Can see we’ve spent a lot of time working on our shape and energy without the ball.
Reminded me a bit of the Burnley team under Dyche when they had Andre Gray up front, maybe Wagner’s first season? Obviously nowhere near as good in quality, but we were smothered that day by the strength and intensity of their press.
If we can do that every game we’ll be very tough to play against, teams that pass it in this league for the most part will have one or two weak links that will give it away (37 yesterday) and we’ll be right on them. Put a quality striker in that team and it’s a promotion team I reckon.
