It's a tough start to the season but Duff looks to have them well drilled after a hard pre-season schedule.
Still think we need to improve areas of the squad for an auto challenge but Nagle seems confident we'll get them in, just hope it's sooner rather than later.

Most bookies have Posh top 6. They are a savvy League One team. Coming away without defeat would be a good result in my opinion. We need a really strong home form this season and pick up points away as much as we can. 1-1.

If we want automatic promotion, we need to be aiming to win every game. That’s a winning culture, so I’m going for a win.

If we're 1-0 down with around 20 minutes to go, who do we bring off the bench to try and get us back in the game? Ward? Headley? I also don't like the idea of Kane anchoring the midfield, nor am I keen on Spencer playing LCB. I quite like Koroma but he's not a natural striker either.

I still think we are 2 players shy of a strong 14-15. But think we are more than capable of winning more than we lose or draw in this division with the current squad as of today.

We should be aiming to win the division, which means going to teams like Peterborough and winning. I just feel it's all still abit square pegs, round holes with no real quality in depth if we are chasing a game. Think we're still 2/3 quality additions away from even thinking about a title challenge, which should be the aim.

I remember a purple patch when we won/drew for a few seasons on the trot at London Road & luckily for me I've not seen Town lose there when they have lost.......My 1st visit was in the 90's play off (2-2), would take the same score next week.

Bet 365 go Evs Posh, 13/5 draw and Town 5/2 which I think (hope) is a good bet. To win the league Town 12/1, Posh 20/1.

Interesting a lot are picking O’Brien-Brady in their side pretty sure he was with our b team.
As for the game 2-0 town, Peterborough have lost some decent players this summer and I’ve no doubt they’ll have a decent season but I feel we may just be a little two strong for them.

The way he took that chance on Friday and the excellent effort on the volley gives me far more confidence in him doing something up there compared to Koroma. That then also gives us an option off the bench in Koroma rather than Ward. If we sign a striker before Saturday then obviously this does not apply

Got to be going for a win in every match this season be great to start with 3 points and we don’t like Peterborough so will feel even better.
Pretty sure Hogg will be back in for this away game, Bojan to make the bench with Ward as options.
1-2 Town Healey Pen, Ward, late goal for them to make it nervy in last 5mins.

Their fans don't seem very confident with their squad.
Getting a striker in is paramount for us. Likely if we do, they would be on the bench for this one.
Can envisage a confident display, with a planned style away from home.
Think we will line up (not my preferred line up)
Nicholls
Pearson Helik Spencer
Sorenson Miller
Hogg Wiles Kane
Healey Ward
Subs
Maxwell Lees Turton Ruffels Evans Koroma New striker

I'd like to see us be a bit more positive from the off.

Probably one of the hardest fixtures we could have got first up. First goal will be crucial and i worry for us if they get it. Hopefully we’ll get a left footed centre half, a midfielder and a couple of strikers this week, that’d give me a lot more confidence. As it stands, 3-1 Posh.

Would love a win, would really set the season off well but avoiding defeat would be no disgrace for what is a tricky opener. 1-1.

Out of curiosity, what is Bojan’s ‘knock’? Is it the old ‘new manager doesn’t rate him’ affliction? Rather him on the bench than Ward.

Interestingly negative on their chances. Peterborough are no mugs, they’ll be around the top eight guaranteed. If not they’ll go get Grant McCann in for his 1,942nd stint in charge.
