I think it was Walsall where the pub we were in, someone set the curtains on fire.
Might have been Port Vale though.
All merges into one 😛

The initial allocation of 924 sold out a new allocation is now not far off being sold out , great turnout for a poxy draw . Sold out? Is that officially mentioned somewhere? I can see 924 was the initial allocation in the side EES Stand, and the website shows blocks G,H and I working away from the centre and (apart from a single seat) H and I are full, so crazy to add a “better” block nearer the middle last and yes, that looks about half sold. Earlier buyers punished with poorer seats it seems. HTAFC marketing team should be all over it trying to build the interest, especially as tickets bought can be collected from Walsall ticket office ….. Walsall fans up for the challenge too, should be a little cracker of a test UTT

Bigger things in life to complain about and really out HTFC s hands. Looking forward to every town game at moment.

Well, this feels like a novelty, we’re talking about a second round game in this competition…
Long may it continue…

Ben Jackson scored Barrow's first penalty in the shootout as they beat Derby 3-2 on pens. Neo Eccleston played the full game as well.

EFL are going down the same route as the FA in making sure Manchester United are picked for the main TV game regardless of who they are playing, their home game against Barnsley (17/9) along with Coventry v Spurs (18/9), Wycombe v Villa (24/9) & Liverpool v West ham United (25/9) are the others........Walsall v Leicester & Wimbledon v Newcastle are both overlooked for main viewing.

Barnsley who managed a few hundred more fans than the 5000 Blades who went to Oakwell in the previous round have received 7400 for the trip to OT, prices range from £20 for Kids up to adults @£42......Or they could go to both the next two away for just a couple of quid more, Burton & Huddersfield.

Manchester City have been instructed to play Watford at home on Tuesday 24th Sept which is approx. 48 hours after they play Arsenal at home in the PL, the sensible solution was for UEFA to move the Man Utd game at home in EL to Thursday, but they insist on playing it Wednesday under the 'new format'......As you can imagine City are not happy, one of a few teams who abide by the EFL rules & usually field a strong line up in the competition.
