Koromas body language is appalling. Pick your head up lad, you could have scored a hat trick.

Safe to say that Koroma has not enhanced his reputation.

Not being too critical - we won 3-0 - but Turton, Hogg, Koroma, Harratt showing they couldn't pass water and should really be reserves Koroma can't buy a goal - he's becoming like Van la Parra - every shot going higher and higher over the bar. Ward was, unfortunately, Ward.

They never stopped going at Morcambe. Solid 90 minutes pressure. Great to see and some excellent, quick, passing. Players running into space and moving the ball quickly. Should have had another 3 second half but great performance.

Early days but Miller and Headley as our two left wing back options looks top drawer for this level.

Poor old Hoggy doesn't fit this style of play, poor bugger trying to hit passes on the first touch went as expected....Koroma tries, I'll give him that! Harratt invisible and probably not going to make it here.

Very efficient and organised, I thought we lost it a little after an hour, with the subs but still created loads of chances. One thing that does stand out, we need a striker. Yes ward scored but he struggles with the pace of our game, and Koroma...a night to forget for him I'd say.
Morecambe were dire, so hard to tell how much progress we're making until we play a decent side.
Good squad workout though.. like a training session

That was football which was streets ahead of what we've become accustomed to recently. Some really quality play albeit against a very limited Morecambe side.
I think my only gripe would be that we need to be far more ruthless. We're not going to get that much time or create so many changes against 99% of League One teams. We need better decision-making and movement up front as second half it all felt a little bit casual.

Been out at a meeting so just got back to watch the last 20 minutes. Looked like we were totally dominant yet finishing was dire. I am assuming that the first half was much better. Looking forward to travelling over on Saturday and probably first time since the L**ds match (I suppose also Millwall match )travelling back happy.

Impressed with that. What a performance from Headley - really doubted the lad last season but that was exceptional and hope he stays to compete with Miller.
Would have been nice to have scored more maybe to make our dominance pay. Bit like the second half at posh.
Well done Mr Duff

Also van la parra is a funny comparison of a player who won promotion with us and was arguably one of our best players in the prem.

Thought we played very well against dire opposition. Midfield kept a great tempo throughout and you can see what Duff is looking for. One thing tho I think he will have picked up on again is the need for a striker who has a bit of nouse in the box. We got in there so many times tonight but nobody was prepared to gamble and hit the space we created. That aside no complaints !

Calm, assured, professional performance and we won that at a canter. Amazing what a difference watching a well coached team with an actual plan looks like. Only two games in but I’m a fan of what Duff has them doing so far. So nice being able to enjoy games again.

The game was over at half time & the main messages from Duff & co would be don't get f*cking injured or sent off & try keep a clean sheet.....2nd half was never going to be a spectacle that some were clearly expecting, job done, on to Saturday..UTT.

Stevenage should be knackered on Saturday. According to the Live feed on BBC site, they lost to both Norwich and Watford tonight. Suspect the Watford bit will be corrected in due course. Attachments:
