If all fit I think we could make a fair few changes in light of getting those who didn’t start competitive game time. Maxwell Turton Pearson Ruffels Sorensen Miller Kasumu Kane Iorpenda Ward Marshall I think that team should be good enough to beat morcambe.Normally I’d say don’t make as many but this early the chance to get a proper game under players belts should be taken for me and it doesn’t risk injury to others. Are there rules like in the tinpot trophy about how many changes you can make? If not then 100% agree with you. Not for the league cup |

PC at 2-30 today with MD & Callum Marshall.....Guessing CM gets a game tomorrow? Good opportunity to get him up to speed. He played a part in West ham's last 3 friendlies before joining so I doubt fitness will be much of an issue? |

All of this 'we should be beating Morecambe even with our second string' nonsense. The amount of times that we have gone out at this stage of this competition against a poor/average side from the level below is astounding. Take it seriously by rotating no more than five from Saturday's team. I think with having a clear way of playing, we can make more changes. It won’t just be a chop and change job. Think back to the Wagner days - every player had their job, and I imagine it’s a little like that now. I’m in agreement in principle, but it’s a balancing act. Five changes would be a minimum I would expect, particularly the goalkeeper, strikers, and wing-backs. |

All their best players left at end of the season |

Professional football match even if we use it to give others gametime.
Whoever plays I believe Duff is extremley keen to win and win well.
Its part of changing the ethos and the feeling within and around the club imo....win games..

I’d have thought more like seat allocation. Those who buy a ticket have a seat. Then those who pay cash just go in and can sit anywhere- but might jump in a paid for seat. At some grounds when you paid in, they'd give you a ticket. It could quite easily be a H&S issue in terms of number of stewards needed. It costs money to open a stand and they can plan better if they know numbers - which we all know will be low irrespective of the result on Saturday, Still agree it’s poor and I’m sure there could have been a better plan. |

If our fringe players aren't good enough to win a home fixture against probably the weakest team in the football league, then there's something seriously wrong with our squad. I don't think anyone is suggesting we just sack it off, or that we play the kids. But we are going to need a large squad of players and this is a good opportunity to give them minutes in their legs and keep everyone fresh. An example side: Maxwell Ruffels Pearson Ayina Headley Kane Kasumu Iorpenda Turton Ward Harratt That's 11 changes from Saturday's starting lineup, still a strong side and I would suggest the vast majority of those players will be needed over the course of the season. If they aren't good enough to slot in, better to find out now than in a promotion 6 pointer. If they are good enough now, then we'll get more put of them when we need to call on them if they have competitive minutes in their legs. Would be good to see Pat Jones and Callum Marshall get a run out as well. They too will be needed this season. It's not a team game, it's a squad game. |

Anyway, I'll be there even if he isn’t. If he decides not to join us he will be the one missing out as this looks like it's going to be a good season. |
