I wouldnt change a winning team if im honest, unless someone isnt fully fit. Wins breed confidence and more wins, keeps the newer players gelling and getting used to the system etc. I just dont see why you wouldnt play strongest 11, and if you are lucky to be 2 or 3 - 0 up then makes some changes. The only games I would be making wholesale changes is the Johnstones Paint Trophy or whatever its called these days. The whole thing is a joke since putting all these u23 and u21 teams or whatever into it. If the EFL dont respect the competition by putting in non first team clubs, then I wouldnt respect it either.

Is it me being tight? I’ve come off the ticket page online as I’m not paying £2.50 booking fee when I can just queue outside the ground and save £2.50? Honestly, is it just me?

I was down Leeds Road earlier so popped in and got 2 without the admin fee, wanted to beat the rush too 😉

It really pissed me off when we last went to Wembley and we had to pay something like £2.50 booking fee per ticket and £2.50 per ticket for them to email us a digital ticket. Might've been able to understand it more if there was someone putting tickets into an envelope, sticking a first class stamp on it and walking to an envelope but since when do emails ever cost anything? I know that this is handled through ticketmaster and not Town but it really gets on my nerves.

My daughter and mate want to come, Town site obviously tells you it’s easier online, so I clicked away and right at the end with the total I just closed the screen. I’m not paying for something when I can do it for free at the ground and takes up 2 minutes of my time.

Dreadful company that continue to get away with ripping folk off. I dont know why anyone uses them as booking agents.

I just went on the Town website, and the game doesn't show on the HTTV page - as an international fan, is it not on the iPlayer system and on audio only ?

Thats why im thinking of giving these games a miss, i always went to the other minor cup competitions in the past but this EFL trophy thingy is a piss take.

Bugs me too, but someone has to pay the Tickmaster (or alternative provider) cut or the club has to alternatively get someone to create something bespoke and maintain it (which creates an indirect cost). Also wouldn't surprise me if this is from some regulation where fees have to be transparent (rather than the ticket itself being more expensive). I'm sure someone at the club could clarify.

No poll, but I'm going to predict a win for us tonight.
I also predict that Michael Duff will not make as many changes as I'd want.
He'll have us taking it seriously, unlike every Town manager since time immemorial.
I also predict that I'll finish typing this and get it posted just before the lineups are released, because I'm just feeling really confident.
3-0 Town.

Bit unfair on Marshall having to lead the line by himself Hopefully he shows us he’s got something and we don’t have to suffer Ward again the rest of the season

Strong team with 8 changes out of 11 from the starting lineup on Saturday. Bodes well for squad depth this season.

Pleased with that team and shows how important the 3 lads keeping their shirts are. Duff has a way he likes to play, and no like for likes yet for Lasse, Helik and Spencer.
Interested to see which CM plays the deepest role.
Let’s get behind ALL our players - lots of other teams and players, never seen the appeal in slagging off our own.

Songo’o and Angol, both ex-Bantams.
Slew was a handful against us last season.
