What we all need to remember is we can only beat who is in front of us. Some games we will play well, some games we’ll be terrible and scrape a result. What matters is where we are come the end of the season. Hopefully still in the top two (preferably top!) Momentum!!!!!!! If my momentum had bollocks, she’s be my grandad!

If... buts and may be's. If my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle. Granny surely! Surely it’s granny? I need to do a bit of deep-thinking about this one. Perhaps I should have said if my granny had balls she'd be my granddad.

It's all about building a winning mentality, they'll be times when we're terrible but you learn to win. I hope that's where we are heading. I remember the Corberan years when we reached Wembley, with Ward, Hogg and Thomas. I used to scratch my head but they played with so much more confidence once the wins started.

Have to give massive praise to Sorensen, he must have 4 or 5 assists in 3 games. Very dangerous attacking player, with a great engine, &, most importantly, he doesn't panic when in great positions.
There were 2 beautiful goals today & he was great in both.

This match shows quite a few positive and negative things about our chances of automatic promotion. Firstly, we have a very competitive midfield that can boss games and score goals. All good there. Secondly, Town can win by not playing with all guns blazing in other words win when they are not at their best. Again that is a big positive especially as this could have been a match Town could have slipped up in. Third, our new manager seems to know his stuff and was not fooled by that performance as say a Darren Moore would be. Fourth, Josh Koroma can now score with his head. Big improvement there. Fifth, all the new signings look decent players and will add something to the team. I liked the tracking back of the new, young forward from West Ham, Callum Marshall and some the tackles he put in. A big improvement there in say a Sorba Thomas who tried his best to never to make a tackle.
But there are some clear areas where we need to work on or we will not be in the automatic promotion places come the end of the season. Firstly, we are crying out for a striker who has real pace or can hold the ball up. Duff seems to know this too so it is over to you Mr Nagle and the recruitment team. Oh and make sure who you bring in has not got a poor injury history. Second ditto with a left sided defender. We are so weak there and today Stevenage cut through us because they sensed this weakness. Better teams will make it count. Third we simply cannot allow either Helik or Nicholls to leave before the end of August. Both are vital to our chances.
All in all a very positive and productive start which shows the right moves are being made in the background. Let's hope there will be news soon of that striker ...

First half our chaps were smashing and i thought we are going to jolly well smash this lot for 6 but oh dear, second half we were feeble. Tough start to the season and 6 points, for the Terriers.

I thought we overcame Stevenage’s physicality really well in the 1st half, without any assistance from the inept officials. Sorenson’s cross for the Koroma goal was sublime. Really impressed with him. Wiles also looked much better than last season. 2nd half we struggled and against a better team could have come close to dropping 2 points. Good to hear that Duff is not happy with the 2nd half. With Healey injured already ( as predicted by many ) I really hope there’s some good news coming soon with the signing of a striker. Stirring video narrated by Patrick Stewart before kick off and was impressed with the stadium revamp . 2nd in the table with a tasty looking home game next Saturday. Hopefully, back on top after this one.

Good 1st half but the old habits from last season appeared again 2nd half.Listening to Duff on radio after the game he wasn't happy at all with the performance second half. Someone better tell Duff that Kenny and DonnyTerrier aren't happy with his attitude Not happy with who,s attitude?? " don't forget to sing when you win" There's bellends on here that think even giving the opposition a chance to score is unacceptable The league is shite and we will be promoted...I couldn't give a fook if they had 10 chances to score...we won!

Peterborough didn't miss a gobber that changes the game, like I said lucky but will take it We'd have been 3-0 up if Ward hadn't missed a gobber, so it's swings and roundabouts. No we wouldn't, Ward's miss was before Wiles scored.

I really think we need a different option up front, someone with physicality and nous who can hold the ball up in those last few minutes when we want to relieve the pressure.
That, combined with adding some pace at the back, and we're in a great position.

what was the attendance today? 18,529 Brilliant in fairness. Ipswich were exactly where we are once their Americans took over and look at them now. Everyone pushing in the same direction. Really hope we can progress how they have. I also hope Kev sees from visiting there how much having the corners of the ground filled into the stadium improved their atmosphere an unreal amount (admittedly not sure how we do this). We also really need a song for before the game and after a victory that gets all 4 stands belting out - once the PA system is sorted!

Regardless of ability, Healey, Radulovic and Ward are just not going to give us the consistency every promotion winning club needs. Far too injury prone

People saying we were lucky to win need to give their head a wobble. We were comfortably the best team in the first half but were disappointing 2nd half. Even so, Ward missed a sitter, they had 2 chances all game, apart from the pen, but people on here need to realise that other teams will get chances occasionally! I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the officiating though, both linos & ref were shockingly bad. We won, we move on but yes we can & will play a lot better. Some people think opponents aren't allowed to attack, especially if they're losing 2-0. To be fair that's understandable given what we've been subjected to for the last two years!

Took the foot completely off the gas and were lucky their finishing was dreadful. It's a win but Duff won't tolerate half arsedness for long. Very disappointing win... we should be annihilating teams in this league. Duff wasn't happy at all with the second half, which it totally agree with.

Very disappointing win... we should be annihilating teams in this league. Duff wasn't happy at all with the second half, which it totally agree with. Second half we almost reverted to Moore/Breitenreiter-ball at times, and were pretty poor and slack (goal aside). I bet Duff's reaction after the game would have been interesting to overhear. I think he described to Oggy that he'd 'given them (the players) some'. Glennon then reminded that, despite the newcomers, we have lots of players who are no doubt still struggling to break the mentality of the last few seasons. Duff won't be able to change everything overnight. Today absolutely highlighted that we need a few more players before the window closes. I don't think we can be too harsh on Spencer. Clearly uncomfortable played out of position. As for Danny Ward......

Well I've seen it a few times and still have absolutely no idea why that bald prick gave Stevenage a penalty. Imagine if it was only 1 0 at the time?

highlights. 2 cracking finishes and Spencer pulling his man for their penalty - rarely given those though I reckon.

Cant rely on teams to miss simple chances too often. We got 2 goals up last week and killed it by organisation and work rate, this week we simply stopped doing anything much and may well nòt have won the game. Duff says it not acceptable, he is right.

Had the score been 0 0 I don’t think the ref would have given it but It was a penalty as far as I’m concerned. Just like the 2 fouls on Koroma in the first half were.

Felt something in his groin after training, given his injury record Duff said he was left out as a precaution and that he should be back very soon.
