If Shrewsbury and Stevenage didn’t miss multiple sitters each it would’ve been different And if my Aunty had balls........... You'll be back at school soon then you can tell all your Leeds supporting friends all about it.

It shouldn't be the likes of Headley on the chopping block, he's only been playing men's football for a couple years. It's the senior figures who should set the standard and be the loudest communicators on the pitch. Headley was crap yesterday but so were the vastly experienced Hogg and Pearson, who are supposed to be the old heads guiding the younger players and using their experience to see out results. Headley is exactly who we should be getting rid of. His attitude last season stunk. No matter how many years he has played adult football, he is execrable. What are you basing this on? Breitenreiter's interview? Headley was part of a team that got relegated, he was poor last night and last season no getting away from that, but I didn't see any evidence of what Breitenreiter was claiming attitude wise. I can't understand how someone like Headley is getting the majority of the shit here. We have an ingrained bad culture which stems mainly from a decade of relegation scraps, but a great deal of it also from losing the 2022 playoff final. That was the last or only chance most of the senior group were ever going to get at reaching the league every English footballer dreams of playing in (Lees said exactly that, it's true of Pearson, Ward, Turton, and Ruffels too). They may not know it but they associate this club with their own professional failure and what might have been, and they all know squarely they'll never reach that level again. We can't create a winning culture with so many senior players who not only know they're over the hill, but came to that realisation while at this club, in a moment of deep professional disappointment. Look what's happened to their performances since then. In the amount of time they've all been playing shit (bar a few good games apiece from Pearson and Ruffels, and excluding Turton as he's been injured the whole time), Headley has excelled relative to them, and he has more of a chance of growing as a player and inevitably maturing as a person than the others.

Hiding, but had more touches in 30 minutes than Koroma had in 60 minutes, Matos in 70 mins or Ward and Healey had in 90 mins. He really hid that game. I respect you as a poster pal but he did hide against Brum. Didn’t want to know at all. So how was he more involved in 30 mins than Koroma was in 60, or either striker in 90? There is a serious agenda against him when others get away scot free.

There is a serious agenda against him when others get away scot free. We will never the circumstances surrounding that game but ST deffo looked disinterested to the point of giving AB the rods. Players can hide and underperform even with the ball so those stats are misleading imo, especially the front lads who had been starved of the ball all season. ST was good for us last season and I ate my own words regarding his skillset. He was our most progressive player, always looking to try and get on the front foot and looking for work. When he came on against Brum, there was none of that. From recollection, he played without urgency zero intensity and with the brakes on in a must win match. If anyone has the time or passion to rewatch that game maybe they can put this to bed. Happy to be proved wrong but rewatching that debacle is beyond me! 😂

Spurs in Europe tho so they’d have been drawn earlier as part of that nonsense European teams thing so I imagine there’s zero chance of working out who we’d have actually played

So that's why we capituled last night. The draw is an absolute farce.

An interesting view on why we have struggled over the last number of years. I am not sure I agree, but it is as valid as anyone else's. I put it down to buying too many old past it players and punts on young players that we brought with no overall plan in mind.
