I do think many are taking the cup game v walsall into account too much, ours wasnt an odd result as such but there certainly were in other ties with teams beating opponents from higher leagues, there might be similar concerns on some of those other clubs forums, a win and everything will be forgotten and we'll be the greatest again. It's the manner of the defeat on Tuesday that's pissed people off more than anything but as you say win today and everyone is talking about going up again. I just wonder if there's a sting in the tail today in this game though. Rotherham no league wins, you know what happens when Town roll in to town.

Be some Town fans genuinely disappointed if Ward bags a brace today and we win! Embarrassing some of you lot. Yes it’s frustrating not to get a striker over the line but the attitude towards our chairman yesterday made me embarrassed to be a Town fan.

I'd take a decent performance, a 1 nil win, and no injuries. Particularly in the striker department. Personally I think we will get quite a few goals from midfield.so what's the problem? You'd presumably be happy with our strikers getting injured, then? We have 3 fit strikers at the moment. If 1 or more gets injured that limits our striking options. Does that make sense to you?

Rotherham with a draw and two losses to start the season, but looking at their stats they’ve created a lot of chances. I’m hoping for a performance similar to Peterborough.
I’d look to keep Pearson in as they have a couple big lads up front. They lack pace at the back so I’d partner koroma and Marshall. I think Duff will have sorted out the midfield during the week by getting Evans or wiles to drop a bit deeper to support Hogg when he shits himself when he looks forward.
I’d take a draw.

It will be very interesting to see if the poor performances recently are replicated today as there would be a higher chance that we would be punished by Rotherham. I'm going for a solid 2-0 away win though.

Nicholls Lonwijk Helik Lees Miller Hodge Wiles Evans Sorensen Koroma Marshall With all the injuries we don't have many options on the bench, just hoping Healey can pass his fitness test to play a part. 2-1 town. This is what he should play but no doubt Danny Ward and Hogg both start

Thought Ward had a decent cameo on Tues - put one on a plate for Harratt after beating the fullback. He'll score today against his old club. Not a world beater but he's good enough at this level.

Looks like the wee man's straight off to Belfast at full time (+ Healey) Healey is a bonus. If we can keep him fit for a good part of the season I'll feel alot more comfortable about getting the goals we need.

Hogg keeps his place after an absolute nightmare in midweek. Mind you, Helik was just as bad.

Decent line up that. Good to see Healey on the bench, hopefully getting back to full fitness.

Is Hogg going to play every week regardless of how bad he is. I thought the signing of Hodge was Duff acknowledging that he was past it and stifles our creativity and attacking play.
Other than that it’s a decent team, think we have enough to get something. Can’t wait to see what decisions go against us today.

Who would replace Sorenson if he gets injured?

Hodge must not be ready, then I guess? I can take Hogg for one more match, but only one.

Who would replace Sorenson if he gets injured? Kasumu? Spencer? Turton at a push.

I am very surprised that Hogg is starting a third game in a week. Not surprised to see Hodge not starting as he’ll only have trained the once, twice at most. He’ll be starting after the international break, I would hav thought. Lonwijk in mostly because we lack other options!
Improvements are needed from the performance.
