Oh good. Wiles, Hogg and Evans retain their places 😂🙈🤨 Last chance before change. Then Kane be in. Is it though? I doubt it no matter what happens today.

Definition of madness is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results

I honestly think that unless Hogg gets injured, he’ll start every game he’s available for this season. Duff has already said how valuable he thinks he is for the team.

Sticking with the same weak as piss midfield then..
Probably need Hogg to get injured early to have a chance..
Another defeat inbound I fear..

This is Hogg game against teams like this, next week against Northampton he shouldn’t be starting

If we lose today, Duff has no excuses really. Criminal sticking with that same midfield after recent performances.

This is Hogg game against teams like this, next week against Northampton he shouldn’t be starting I do get what you're saying, but I don't think any game is a Hogg type of game anymore. He's too slow, clumsy and negative on the ball to be useful against better sides, and as you rightly point out, he shouldn't be starting against the lower sides in the division.

Also why are people acting like Bolton are Man City or something, we shouldn’t have to be defending all game - we are in league for gods sake

I love coming on here on match days. We haven’t kicked a ball yet and all the usual moaners are telling us we have already lost. I do wonder if this is just an emotional release for them.
Myself, I think Evan’s and Wiles need to click, well they all need to click better. We have setup with a strong defence and a decent bench. Let’s hope the others find their way a bit better. Duff sees them in training and he analyses after games. This is not his first rodeo.

They are giving Wiles as many chances as they possibly can? Hope we hear his name mentioned more than once every 20 minutes or so?? Hard to play in midfield and be less actually involved in the game.? It might need a lot of hard work today, I fear Hogg too deep and 2 midfielders who get lost somewhere further up the pitch.. Have to fight for your right to play and that might go awol.

at the risk of sounding like Theresa May...... Nothing has changed. I guess Duff has had them for the last 2 weeks trying to instill in them what is required, so they should be in no doubt today... and they'll be aware that others are waiting for a chance.. Evans certainly has to buck up...Wiles has really disappointed me after a good start and thinking he just needed a full summer to get fit..so it's not fitness..it's he can't be arsed. As for Hogg, the golden boy of every manager it seems...it's a real shame his legacy is being tarnished in this way...they shoot horses, don't they..
We await the outcome....

are kane and healey injured? Yes Healey sounds like it could be pretty serious. Issues with the hamstring which was used for his ACL graft

Nothing changed but not letting a loss away at Rotherham change the fact a similar line up and tactic got 3 wins from 3.
Donny and Walsall away were in the cup .
Think pre season hit these lads hard after past two seasons and we’ll turn it on today and next Saturday

Was it "mad" Pete Booth who climbed the floodlight at Burnden ? It was,I was there. We lost 3-1 last match of the season, very hot day. It’s turned into a legend that he pissed on a policeman but he didn’t,just pretended to unzip his flies. A nice lady WPC asked him to climb down and he obliged straight away.

They're usually further away from starting after a break than before. Not just the odd player, this happens time and time again. 'So and so may be back for Saturday', then never seen or heard of again for months.
