What a result that was!
Thought we slightly edged the first half without creating much until Koroma headed home.
Second half we absolutely battered the life out of them and could have easily been more.
We've already been to Peterborough, Rotherham and Bolton, which are some of the tougher away games and without some shocking refereeing decisions at Rotherham we'd have got something from each.
Massive game to get us back on track today and the lads did exactly that.
Get in town!

I was a bit concerned to see the same starting lineup that never really got going against Rotherham.
Excellent performance today though. Looked up for it and pressed well as a team. Grew in to the game and started opening them up with some good passing. Much better from Evans too who was unlucky not to score.

Why does criticising players after some poor games make you a hater?

Why does criticising players after some poor games make you a hater? Because a lot of town fans , especially on here, are idiots. Everything is so black and white to them. If we win we are amazing, if we lose we are awful. If you once said in a whisper that you thought someone was shit , they will hold it against you for as long as it takes for them to play well.

A great performance
A decent ref for once and a penalty at long last too.
A 4-0 winning margin
And for once strength in depth with impatful subs
A very good day indeed .UTT

I would imagine Kevin will find that quite acceptable. Id like to see him come out and say something positive, then quietly apologise to duff and not speak again when emotional.

Well that was a pleasant surprise! Hadn't listened to the game as I was socialising with non-football people, and only had chance to check the score once at about half 3 with the scores at 0-0.
Refreshed the results page just now and seen that not only did we win 4-0 away from home, but we even won (and scored) a penalty!
Perhaps I'll wake up in a minute and find it's still 8am, with Town about to get our arses handed to us on a silver platter.

The foul on Koroma in the first half looked much more like a penalty than the one in the second half and how he didn't give Wiles a freekick when he was buffeted in the back on the touchline in the first half was mind boggling.

I wouldn't say 'especially on here' - Twitter is worse, whilst Facebook is the absolute gutter. Just ignore those that always refer to 'haters', 'snowflakes', 'happy clappers', 'bed wetters', etc. Although, not saying the accusation isn't occasionally warranted 😄

That is just Tough Sheet Bolton... 🔵⚪️🔵 The worst name ever for a Stadium, whoever allowed that must have a sick sense of humour. It's up there with the once proposed "Bell End" at Maine Road

Well, that's disappointing.Absolutely brilliant lineup. Fantastic management, and this is exactly the side I would have picked. I definitely didn't edit this post after the fact. Nope. Not me.

I think your being a bit harsh on ref , thought he was best we’ve had this year, albeit quite a low bench mark. Do agree on penalty decisions though , I think we only got the second one because he realised he had got the first decision wrong and when we had the break for the Evan’s injury, all town players were telling him exactly that

I'm no idiot and definitly don't see black and white. Evans and Wiles have been under performing and some posters have hung them out to dry. But they were just as bad as 5 or 6 others. So why the singling out? Some weird fans will be gutted they both scored today so they can't stick the boot in. Tbh, anyone with anything negative to say about the game today would be bizarre.

Anyway, nice to sit behind the goal in the TS today and watch three go in. UTFT

I really don't fancy this and think we are in for a sound defeat. We are a mid -table team, at best. ...sadly. .

Blimey. Not one player has let the side down today. Not world beating but a good solid performance so far. Not made me feel nervous in defence either. Keep it up lads. UTT You wouldn't think it reading this thread. People throwing the towel in on seeing the lineup, calling for subs after 25 mins, he's shit, they're shit... Etc etc. Unbelievable

I had a dream on Thursday that we’d win and the goalkeeper would pass us the ball for a goal.
My wife has asked for tonight’s lottery numbers and I’ve declined. I don’t know how many numbers are needed. But the number 47 is definitely coming out.

Evatt in talks with the owners right now, perfect fit for Big Sam to take the reins, said he would be interested if the job became available.
