I had a dream on Thursday that we’d win and the goalkeeper would pass us the ball for a goal. My wife has asked for tonight’s lottery numbers and I’ve declined. I don’t know how many numbers are needed. But the number 47 is definitely coming out. So is number 4.

I still think the ref was pretty woeful. The foul on Koroma in the first half looked much more like a penalty than the one in the second half and how he didn't give Wiles a freekick when he was buffeted in the back on the touchline in the first half was mind boggling. I think your being a bit harsh on ref , thought he was best we’ve had this year, albeit quite a low bench mark. Do agree on penalty decisions though , I think we only got the second one because he realised he had got the first decision wrong and when we had the break for the Evan’s injury, all town players were telling him exactly that Also thought he was the best ref we’ve had in ages Let play go on Turned down attempts to win free kicks, the soft ones that are too often given

Those of you who have said how well we were pressing when we went 3-0 up...
Notice what else happened at 3-0 up?

I think our defense of Lees, Lonwijk and Helik are looking solid. Midfield looked better in possession today but Hogg getting done time and again in the first half was a worry. Koroma caused them a lot of problems and deserved his goals, Marshall worked hard without much joy but his cross for the first was excellent.
Still plenty of players not far off injury wise to come back in aswell.

Great day today.
I thought we were the better team in the first half, without creating much but you have to remember, this is League 1, not the Championship, you don't have to be very good to win.
2nd half we applied the pressure, they crumbled & our midfield 3 actually remembered we can play some decent football when we pass the ball. Just hope Miller isn't seriously injured.
Lovely 3 points, onwards & upwards.

I really don't fancy this and think we are in for a sound defeat. We are a mid -table team, at best. ...sadly. . Shame on you Essex Terrier I posted that I think that a win was on the cards just after Essex Terriers post , Great win , up the mighty Terriers !

That is just Tough Sheet Bolton... 🔵⚪️🔵 The worst name ever for a Stadium, whoever allowed that must have a sick sense of humour. It's up there with the once proposed "Bell End" at Maine Road I don't know . Osset's Stade De France, named after the club sponsor, was a bad one.

Evatt in talks with the owners right now, perfect fit for Big Sam to take the reins, said he would be interested if the job became available. Have you seen his interview ? I’m all for being honest but the guys just signed his own P45

Typical town to lose next Saturday now 🤣 Watched them at home against Wycombe at lunchtime. They were poor defensively. Wycombe were very good. The difference in the quality between Bolton v Town game and Northampton v Wycombe was massive.

Turns out I was wrong, horrendously so. But then, if we all knew what was going to happen, would there be any point in going?🤷♂️

Because a lot of town fans , especially on here, are idiots. Everything is so black and white to them. If we win we are amazing, if we lose we are awful. If you once said in a whisper that you thought someone was shit , they will hold it against you for as long as it takes for them to play well. I'm no idiot and definitly don't see black and white. Evans and Wiles have been under performing and some posters have hung them out to dry. But they were just as bad as 5 or 6 others. So why the singling out? Some weird fans will be gutted they both scored today so they can't stick the boot in. Tbh, anyone with anything negative to say about the game today would be bizarre. I agree with you. Think some people act like just because they were good today it makes up for the last few games. They have an ‘I told you so’ attitude

Surely nobody would be stupid enough to use that name!! Lol It really was to be the Colin Bell stand, not end.

Very much like Peterbourgh in that crazy crazy tactics from the opposition. They clearly got it horribly wrong but rather than change they double down and play even more daft passes in their own half.

They have an ‘I told you so’ attitude It was me who put the post 'wonder where the Wiles and Evans haters will be' But it was more aimed at posters who will only contribute if their least favourite players or the ones they like to scapegoat have a poor game. Some won't even log in tonight because we have won and they both scored. Many like yourself and I can acknowledge they have both been below par, and unfortunately as central midfielders it is more obvious. But we won't just comment when they play bad. They both, especially Evans, stepped up today. Wiles had his moments, but overall had a very good game. Off the ball, they were both fantastic.

Unreal Evatt could go tonight Does he not have shares in the club and I believe they helped with gambling debts or so I heard. Might not be that easy to sack him

It was a woman who sat right at the front in the North Stand at Main Road who always rang a bell every time Man City scored but it all started with Colin Bell.
