To win our first four games then losing our next four would be the most Huddersfield town thing ever 🤣 Well they certainly couldn’t call us ‘Drawdersfield’ any more as my local boozing buddies were calling us while Darren Moore was in charge ! 😉

Looking at the seating plan and what Wrexham were given it looks like this batch of tickets will be our last. Maybe 500ish left, so if anyone is in two minds about going, probably wouldn't leave it too much longer before making a decision.
I know it's only over the hills but still good support considering it's £28.
I'd settle for a draw I think. They've had two home fixtures so far and not managed to win either, drawing to Wrexham and losing to Exeter. Still think they'll come good though and be near the top of the table come May.

I'm happier going into this with Marshall Koroma (probably shattered) and Ladapo, rather than having to stick Wiles up front!
Im guessing Healey and Bojan are out.

I don’t think we will see much of Bojan or Healey this season. For differing reasons they seem to be all ways injured. Healey, at least makes the effort, Bojan is frightened of contact. He will appear and then disappear. Waste of money both of them.

I see the new guy has a two year contract even though he was a free agent, wise given MC track record?.......If he gets injured surely it spells the end of the road for the inept sporting director.

Sold one block now released the last two for sale They'll be snapped up in no time on the back of our latest marquee signing Good signing and well needed , town fans are following the club in droves so far this season which is a good sign of folks positivity . His signing may actually add a few, some town fans on datm just can’t help being negative or sarcastic fool them. This will be a cracking season to watch town away from home. Bolton will be one of the hardest games this season there will be over 20000 there for one of the biggest games in this division all year and adding a striker who’s done it at this level at this stage was obviously the plan if we missed our target. Good on KN and town. I

I fully expect Ladapo to get game time with Koroma’s travel taking quite a bit out of him. Like to see Marshall and Ladapo start and bring Koroma on for the last 20 minutes. Plenty of games coming thick and fast, they’ll all get plenty of opportunities.

Bolton had the best home record in this division last year, so yes will be favourites for this game. They get bigger crowds than us and have bought well over last few years . I’m in no doubt this is a very hard fixtures and town probably won’t win but I’m also not a fan who thinks we should win because we’ve just been relegated and we are massive ( even though we get smaller crowds than them) . Town have done well to keep the likes of Helik and add some great additions to the club, I’ve watched this club through thick and thin and appreciate when the club are starting to do the right things, many just want to complain and see the negatives. Luckily the majority aren’t so pig headed and the away followings so far prove there is momentum gathering. We may lose Saturday but I still think this year will be an exciting one . Bolton 11/10 Town 9/4 On betfair . A draw would be a great result . But one things for sure it will be a cracking advert for league one footy. Probably 23000 plus and a stack of town fans cheering the team on UTT.

Think Marshall should be ok.he played 57 minutes in the first game on Thursday then a 17 minute appearance as sun on Sunday.I’d imagine he’s back with town from today/tomorrow. Koroma maybe different depending if he plays tonight,he okayed 65 minutes the other day,if he plays similar tonight plus travelling he may not be used Saturday leaving Marshall ward and ladapo and potentially Healey depending on his injury status. Apologies…clearly no ward is forgotten he’s out for 3 games!!

Not sure why.....we won comfortably at posh and altho rovrum was poor i would suggest we might fair better against the teams who come out and want to "play" against us. Personally i see the struggles being the likes of Rovrum, Charlton who will be direct and physical. That and teams who sit deep and say break us down at home where mistakes will eventually cost us unless we score more goals.

Yes hopefully we can start off a tough run of games including Bolton away, reading away,Blackpool home and Birmingham away plus Northampton at home in and amongst a busy schedule with a win.I’d take 8/9 points from those games and consider it a good return before we start what is on paper a slightly preferable run going towards Christmas

With Ward, Healey & Bojan unavailable, and JK & Marshall having been away on international duty it seems inevitable that Ladapo will be thrown straight into the deep end on Saturday. Even if he's not in the starting XI, I'd expect him to get minutes off the bench.
Midfield is a quandary. Kane & Kasumu injured, when for me they'd both be in the starting line-up if available and I was picking. Wiles & Evans in poor form. Hogg needs to be used more sparingly. Iorpenda & Hodge look good, but inexperienced. Hodge may also be tired after International duty.
Even accounting for the injuries & suspension, I was surprised to see that every single 1st team player that's available will be either in the starting line-up or on the bench - bar one (Jacob Chapman in my team).
Note - I'd be looking to Marshall & Iorpenda in particular coming on the pitch at some stage on Saturday. Not including them in the starting XI doesn't necessarily mean that I don't think they're good enough.
Nicholls
Lonwijk Helik Lees
Miller Hodge Hogg Evans Sorensen
Ladapo Koroma
Subs Maxwell Pearson Ruffels Turton Iorpenda Wiles Marshall

Would love to see TI get some proper game time this season, and with DK & HK out injured and another AE & BW off form, now might be the time for him to get an opportunity.

Would love to see TI get some proper game time this season, and with DK & HK out injured and another AE & BW off form, now might be the time for him to get an opportunity. I agree on iorpenda though I think keeping evans in for more experience will be preferred in a game like this. I also think Hogg will remain at 6 in a game where fit the first time we probably won’t dominate possession. For the same reason and even though he’s played those two 90 minutes I would play hodge instead of wiles,it might relinquish some supposed creativity but he’ll provide pace and energy and he’s apparently tidy on the ball.I’d keep evans over wiles as he’s the more box to box one and he provides height and a set piece. Koroma didn’t get any minutes last night so even though he’ll join up with the squad probably only on Friday I’d start him and Marshall and have ladapo off the bench, those two will do the pressing required more than a ladapo and Bolton I believe like to try play out. I said it last week but I’d also swap lonwijk to the right side as Sorensen tends to play higher than miller and doesn’t quite have his pace, lonwijks added pace over lees could provide better cover with lees lack of it maybe not be as much an issue with miller and hodge on that side. If we were to flick forward to a Northampton game at home I’d drop hodge into 6 for Hogg with an eye on more possession and him been better on the ball,I’d then make a decision on whether to bring back wiles or give iorpenda a chance. Team for Saturday Nicholls,lonwijk,Helik,lees,sorensen,evans,Hogg,hodge,miller,koroma,marshall…..I’ll go for a 1-1 as we’ve scored in every game I think this season.
