Good spot. Side note: I hadn't realised that he was captain as well. I was thinking JH might have to come off for Iorpenda at some stage. Would love to see TI get some proper game time this season, and with DK & HK out injured and another AE & BW off form, now might be the time for him to get an opportunity. I agree on iorpenda though I think keeping evans in for more experience will be preferred in a game like this. I also think Hogg will remain at 6 in a game where fit the first time we probably won’t dominate possession. For the same reason and even though he’s played those two 90 minutes I would play hodge instead of wiles,it might relinquish some supposed creativity but he’ll provide pace and energy and he’s apparently tidy on the ball.I’d keep evans over wiles as he’s the more box to box one and he provides height and a set piece. Koroma didn’t get any minutes last night so even though he’ll join up with the squad probably only on Friday I’d start him and Marshall and have ladapo off the bench, those two will do the pressing required more than a ladapo and Bolton I believe like to try play out. I said it last week but I’d also swap lonwijk to the right side as Sorensen tends to play higher than miller and doesn’t quite have his pace, lonwijks added pace over lees could provide better cover with lees lack of it maybe not be as much an issue with miller and hodge on that side. If we were to flick forward to a Northampton game at home I’d drop hodge into 6 for Hogg with an eye on more possession and him been better on the ball,I’d then make a decision on whether to bring back wiles or give iorpenda a chance. Team for Saturday Nicholls,lonwijk,Helik,lees,sorensen,evans,Hogg,hodge,miller,koroma,marshall…..I’ll go for a 1-1 as we’ve scored in every game I think this season. I'm on board with literally all of that.

I’m in a bit of a dilemma with this one. My 8 year old daughter wants to go and I can’t really be arsed seeing us getting Barrymored.

Anyone know our allocated pubs for Saturday? Better off drinking in Manchester? Last we went there they wouldn't let us in anywhere around the ground before or after the match

The very least is Town giving 110% and the best outcome our new striker scores we win and are back on track. This one is not a tin pot cup, so get in.

I want to see something with coherence, (more) confidence and some belief.
It's not that we lost the last 3 games, it's how we lost them. Some poor play, poor choices and a lack of belief.
Let's see us dig in and show people what we are capable of. Lose but put together a performance, perhaps not taking chances, then the issue over a striker is pertinent. At the moment we have too many players off form or suddenly lacking belief, that needs to change above everything.

Big game this, very important we get back on track. Lose this and I fear the optimism and feel good factor will be long gone, replaced by apathy mostly and realisation we're probably stuck in L1 for a while.
I've still got faith in MD so hoping to see a big improvement. The team and individuals need to step up after the last few performances which have been worryingly poor.

I’m in a bit of a dilemma with this one. My 8 year old daughter wants to go and I can’t really be arsed seeing us getting Barrymored. What makes you think that? Bolton haven't been great at all so far. Not saying it won't happen, but I'm yet to see any evidence of Bolton being capable of battering us. They have changed their style weirdly. Reverted to long balls up to Charles, who can't win the duels. They've looked very sluggish. Very much similar to us, but we've managed to get results.

We’ve also scored in every game I believe without putting any of them early teams to the sword. The Birmingham game away comes at a point where it’s the 4th game in 10 days so could be tough but up to now I don’t imagine a battering from anyone.

And despite all the money they've spent, Birmingham look very suspect defensively. Think we will play then at a good time with injuries hopefully back and up to speed for that run of games. Momentum in those 10 days is key.

I think we've seen that you don't have to be great to win games this season - this isn't anything like the Championship. Well below average against Rotherham and we could have won it with 10 men but for a very soft penalty changing the momentum. I reckon we'll just have to be solid and unspectacular to be right up there in May.

It's going to be hard to be right up there when you're constantly passing it to the opposition
