Hogg, Evans and wiles come on and we immediately look 10x worse and one gives the opposition a total gift of a pen. If our starting midfield isn’t Hodge, Iorpenda(who has been brilliant tonight) and Kane within 5 games I’ll eat my hat. I agree with you wholeheartedly but unfortunately not a chance Hogg gets dropped. |

We have now conceded more penalties in the 7 games this season than we have earned in the last 133. Correction: equal numbers. Even so. Barmy statistic. Not just ‘barmy’, it’s absolutely scandalous how Town are repeatedly pulled up for the softest of penalties and are equally repeatedly denied absolutely stonewall decisions. |

Does no one find it absurd we didn’t sign anyone with pace? It’s shocking when you consider no one in the entire squad has any to run past lesser technical players in lower divisions

What an absolute shambles. If they can find anything positive to get out of that game then I will be amazed. I hope this losing trend stops pretty soon as our lack lustre displays are anything but a side who should be challenging for promotion.

I defy anybody to say that Doncaster were not the better of two very poor sides
Apart from the fitness, that could have been a game between two non- league sides

Feel for Iorpenda, did everything he could but was let down badly by the rest of the team. Comfortably our best performing midfielder this season.

We should really be trying extra hard to do well in this cup since automatic promotion is probably unrealistic and the playoffs isn't a certainty. We didn't look great at the start of the season even though we were winning and now it's looking even worse now we aren't winning!!

I'm sick of losing to Div 2 teams, why do we think we're good enough to beat anyone by playing 3 kids.
We need to start winning games, 3rd game in a row with virtually no football played. What has happened to the style of play we had in pre-season & the first couple of games? We've lost enough games over the last few years, when is it going to stop?

All early season optimism disappeared in 7 days - 3 defeats - 2 to league 2 opposition and terrible end to the transfer window. No discernable style of play - players going through the motions...same old

We have absolutely nothing upfront. Completely toothless and it’s going to cost us. We have got to get a tune out of either Healey or Radulovic but doubt we ever will. Complete balls up by the requirement team.

It might be my memory playing tricks but I don't remember us being this bad at passing a ball even when we were league two Been a fan since 1980 and never seen such dire passing, just one of the serious issues from the last few seasons the club has miserably failed to address, unless of course it is a voodoo curse....Didn't Barry Fry once think a club was cursed and took a slash in all 4 corners to lift the curse?? |
