Surprised he's picked Hogg for this one, with Blackpool coming up midweek.
Personally I'd have gone for Hodge so that Hoggy could be fully fresh for Blackpool, who I'd expect to attack us more.
On the other hand, from what I've seen, the Cobblers look ok in midfield but shocking defensively, so who knows?
I castigated Duff for his selection Vs Bolton and looked silly afterwards, so I'm just going to admit that he knows a smidgen more about the job than I do.

After the great result at Bolton, I expect Town to do what they do best and make hard work of this game. Teams coming here will set up to not concede, so I reckon a low win or even a bore draw. The Cobblers have a pretty mean defence outside the top 6 clubs...just 6 conceded in 5 games..don't expect a cake walk.. |

Had a wee look at the head to head history of The Terriers v The Cobblers and it’s closer than I thought it would be...
Huddy Town 14 wins V Northampton Town 12 and 7 draws...
Last game was a 2-1 win for Town at their bit on 30-Aug-2011 in The Johnstone Paint Trophy - (Jeez a rare cup win for Town) 😊
Last League game was also at their bit on 10-Jan-2009 and was a 1-1 draw...
So over 15 years since we played them on League duty so should be an interesting one today...
In Connel at the family home - The weather is truly STUNNING an Indian summer finally has hit Scotland, I should be lording it at Ganavan sands or Tralee Beech but it’s two hours now in the lounge and Sky Soccer Saturday and hopefully a win for HTAFC !
PREDICTION = Huddersfield Town 3 v Northampton Town 2 ! 😉
