Certain Town fans for 30 years - "Why are we sharing with the egg chasers. They're ruining the pitch. Why can't they leave and go somewhere smaller" Same Town fans "They're getting something new and shiny. Maybe we can use it too" Egg chasers, isn't that the other lot? In Perpignan a few weeks back 100's of Town fans & Giants mixed together once again with no issues, their are a few anti Town/Giants fans in both camps & I doubt for one second they want anything to do with each over. If the new ground is nearby I wouldn't see a problem with each other sharing facilities if required.......Do we cancel a concert at JSS because we have a pre season pencilled in? Hopefully Ken & Kev won't see it that way?

It sounds like Giant Panthers might be on the way.

Perhaps there may be better alternatives in their rightful home city of Sheffield?

Seems to be quite a bit of backtracking from two weeks ago? 🤔
You'd have thought Davy would have done abit more 'groundwork' on potential locations before announcing it? Now talk of them potentially moving to Halifax as an option? Strange.

The Police couldn't find anywhere suitable for a new Police station as where they wanted to build a new station was where the old sports centre was, the new flashy building there now is part of the University and the Police are going to get a little new station on Northgate that even isn't big enough for any cells. The ideal place for the Giants would be on the old Gasworks but our wonderful council say they have plans for that land! so will the Giants have to move out of Huddersfield to get somewhere suitable or stay where they are.

Surely mention the Shay is just a negotiating tactic with Kirklees?

While The Footy will always be way and above my main sporting interest in Huddersfield, I definitely do want the best for Huddersfield Giants as I want to see ma favourite English town win at whatever - Football / Rugby League / Rugby Union / Chess & Draught Leagues / Tiddlywinks / And even The Scottish Slate Skimming Championship if they entered... But I think it’s very important that The Giants find their new home in Huddersfield and not Sheffield or Halifax or anywhere else outta town... I pass The Reebok where Bolton play on the motorway coming to and from Huddy Town matches and while it’s maybe impressive enough looking it’s miles outta Bolton Town and I cannot think of nothing worse... I love my wander down to The John Smith’s Stadium for HTAFC games via The Plumbers, The Old Hat, The Crown, The Vulcan to pick a random few of Huddersfield’s fine watering holes and I sincerely hope that Huddersfield Giants fans get the same chance as I do to attend their favourite sport in the enjoyable way that I do in HUDDERSFIELD ! 👍 🏈 ⚽️

Bolton's ground may look nice, but the atmosphere is shite and it's in the middle of a field miles away from the town itself*. Being able to walk from the town centre to the ground (without having to gather a load of sponsorships) is something money can't buy. I'd absolutely hate it if our ground was at some nonentity place next to the motorway, Cooper Bridge for example. *=Those who have been to Bolton town may well say that's a good thing. I couldn't possibly comment!

To be honest dear boy.the only thing you should feel sorry about is your obvious total lack of knowledge when it comes to rugby league end of.you come across as the arse end of a pantomime cow. Please refrain from the continous blah blah that exits from your rear as not only is it utterly boring but lacks the insight of someone of your age who should know considerably better than the apologetic crap you spit out .good day old bean.

When the council close down Bradley Park GC, they could put a stadium there.

Plans my arse. Its been left empty for years. The land must have been toxic as they spent several months cleaning it all up, must be 10 years ago
