I can't tolerate this constant shower of piss anymore. We have THE worst record in the football league over the last decade, I thought that era was finally done after a few wins at the start of the season, and now we lose 5 out of 6 and are getting worse with each passing game, with a team of unlikeable, gutless, boring bastards. Not bothering with the club til it gets its act together, and logging the fuck off of here for a bit! Nail on head. It really fucking is, and has been for a few seasons now. |

Can’t wait to see what Duff has to say. He says himself he’s not a ranter, well it’s time you learnt mate because this set of spineless wage thieves need a shirt ripping off them.
Wiles, Lees, Helik, Hogg, Spencer, Headley, et al….losers mentality, and woefully inept even at this level. I’m sick to the back teeth of predicting the crab passes from centre-back to centre-back, then to wing back and return.
Duff takes the tactical blame.
Cartwright takes the signing blame.
The players have slopey shoulders and must take a large dollop of blame as some have run through Schofield, Fotheringham, Warnock, Moore, Breitenreiter and are now signing off Duff’s P45 slowly too.

My patience is seriously being tested. Another abysmal home performance against another limited team that literally copied Northamptons game plan. You don’t need good players to beat us, turn up with a basic game plan and you win.
Is it all Duffs fault? Should he go now? 5 games, 10 games? I think we have to look deeper than just the manager though. How many managers can we get through before we have to look for other issues. Yes his formation doesn’t suit the players we have but ffs he can’t be blamed for some things. It’s not his fault our players can’t find a team mate, or pass it straight out of play, or play absolute suicide balls backwards, or are as weak as piss, or constantly lose the ball. It’s not his fault we sign dud after dud that I can’t believe we have even scouted. Ladapo has one of the worst first touches I have seen then just fouls his man. 2 year contract ffs? It means we won’t get another striker now until we get rid of some. I just can’t believe all summer we tried to get Taylor and failed with the back up plan of Ladapo. If he gets 5 goals this season I will be stunned.
How long before Kev questions Cartwright and the players he has brought in. Fucking Ladapo and 2 year contract. If he was 3rd choice I would hate to see 4th. He is basically the same player as Simpson, who we just got rid of. We have no striker who will get 10 goals, after having all summer. But everything is ok cus we have an owner who is sat on twitter telling us it isn’t good enough, but what’s he doing. He comes for the odd games but he clearly doesn’t understand what’s going on, where we were, what we are doing now or about any of the leagues. I fear we may sink lower before any kind of recovery.

It really fucking is, and has been for a few seasons now. I know it's only the 7th game but you can see where the season is heading already. Incredibly disappointing after some early optimism. The writing was on the wall after the window another one passed by where the main problems were not addressed |

we are bereft of top end quality. Sad to see. The team needs freshening up and it will take multiple windows. Im a bit hesitant to blame Duff because at some point it isnt that every manager we have is crap but he needs to be more innovative. We are an easy scout.

Reminds me of the glazers situation.
They thought that managers were not getting the team playing and that changing managers was the answer.
They just thought that you buy the players and let the manager do it all.
They got left behind. Inconsistent results, some good wins but a general malaise.
Changed the CEO and the top team to focus on the first team and they are improving.
... The first team played ok when showing some confidence. The manager (I think) is good.
Theres a bigger problem and it could be the coaching team, the physio team, the dinner ladies or something else.
But it certainly isn't being improved and that falls at Cartwright's door.

couldn’t of put it better myself. only player that’s excited me this season is sorenesen for about 2 games and miller for a couple too Sorensen was stand out against Stevenage , how is he so bad so soon . probably the best right back in the league last season too and now looks bang average |

It really fucking is, and has been for a few seasons now. It isn’t. It’s a lack of physicality and pace. A lack of tactical cohesion. An absence of belief. A lack of consistent decision making. It’s a wedding to a style and system that we’ve signed for without bringing in options to change it up effectively. It’s loss of confidence. It’s a massive plethora of things. There are players there who lack the bravery to turn things round. But when you look at why we lost, it’s down to two mistakes. For the first goal, Sorensen dives in and loses out, leaving space behind to be covered by Kane, who loses out twice due to lack of physical presence. Switch off in the middle, 1-0 down. Second goal is a poor decision in the middle leading to a loss of possession, then we’re exposed to a side of strong runners who take advantage of the turnover. None of that is ‘gutless’. It’s bad choices - one of which is reckless, almost the opposite of gutless. He takes a chance he doesn’t need to. It wasn’t lack of effort. It was its application and broader shortcomings. We were second best in the middle, for example. It was not lack of fight. It was lack of height - and weight. Technically, we arguably had the edge, but when that midfield came under pressure it was forced out of the game. No point saying it was gutless. It could put up all the fight it had, but it was a lightweight going up against a medium weight, in boxing terms. The superior power and reach of the latter means it wins that battle - almost every time. |

And you were wrong when you said that. Town fans have pointed out the shit play even when we’ve won this season and that it was a concern, but you weren’t listening/called us ridiculous. |

We have an OAP in defence, a dwarf, daz from the dog and gun and someone you drag out because he used to be a good lad, but is miserable as fuck now and a striker who spends the day jumping in puddles and making funny noises. You could go on... It's misfits town.
It's beyond fucking terrible. The club is broken... We signed Freddie on a two year deal...
Everything together must be a big fat steaming yanky turd somewhere.

I'd try 4231 ideally but no idea who could play wide right. Nicholls Spencer/Sorensen Helik/Lees Longwijk Miller Kasumu Kane/Hodge Marshall? Evans Koroma Radulovic Fucks knows I can't even decide on 4 of the positions it all looks shit. |

I know Blackpool probably took their foot of the gas slightly but I thought we looked more solid at the back and in midfield when we went 4-3-3 after the subs were made. Of course, Duff can’t say that because it’s not his beloved 3-5-2  |

The squad is a confused mess. We’re trying to play 3-5-2 without any pace and midfielders that aren’t comfortable on the ball under pressure. So easy to play against by turning us round and pinning us in.

We are back to last seasons inability to do anything from a corner. A corner to Town is better than a goal kick to the other side as they have 7 sleeping town players in their own penalty area
What a shambles. Waste of time and money going. So much for season cards.
Not sure we can manage mid table. League 2 here comes htafc.

One manager said we had an attitude problem and he was the worst manager with the worst results, he could have been just pointing the finger at the players to try and rescue the managers reputation. It did not work and he ran away anyway. Hard to argue that he was wrong though. He probably knew that the problems wouldn't be addressed. Another absolutely tripe midfielder !!! |
