They put in a performance and you actually believe these players aren’t that bad after all and it’s all a mentality thing but previous to today I’ve watched all those defeats abs we were very poor technically and tactically ... let’s hope this isn’t a one off and we get some consistency in performance

Phew! Some really good performances today. Kasumu with his best game for ages. Deserved the goal. Spence looks much better on the right of defence as well. I'm liking Chapman in goal as well.

Take your pick from Kasumu, Miller, Wiles & Pearson (minus his passing in the first half) Cracking shift put in from every player who featured today. Improved performance from Bojan, Longwijk, Spencer, Hodge, Marshall etc too.  Much more like it. |

Thought even if we didn’t score that would have been a much improved performance so that’s a fantastic result. We started with so much intensity - why can we not do that every game?
I’m a critic of Pearson but today he was a colossus. He’s not long term but right now for me I wouldn’t be changing that defence in a hurry.

Amazing what can happen when we actually pass and move. While we were lacking that bit of quality in the final third, I thought our all round play was vastly improved. We’ve got something to build on again, hopefully this 11-15 players can start to build some confidence together.

Ridiculous though it sounds, that is a season defining win considering that we're now going into a fortnight off from league matches. A defeat would have been devastating.

Much improved performance. No doubt we deserved that result and Barnsley are no mugs. Really pleased Kasumu got a goal to round off an excellent showing from him.
Hopefully this result can kick start our season now.

I think that was our most complete performance of the season to date. Dealt with Barnsleys attacks to the point it didn’t really look like they had any. Created plenty going forward, which on another day could’ve seen us win comfortably. This needs to be the standard we keep to from now on if we want to have a decent season.
3 shining lights for me were:
Kasumu. His energy is irreplaceable in our midfield. If fit, he has to start every game. Look so much better balanced in the middle with him in there.
Hodge. Complete calmness on the ball, and always trying to find a forward pass if it’s on.
Radulovic. Probably get pelted for this one by some who’ve already made their minds up about him, but I thought he looked a lot lot sharper today. Made the right runs and contributed to the team. If he can get a run of games going I think he’ll be an asset to us this season.

Best performance of the season. So many great performances (Miller, Hodge, Wiles, Marshall etc), but well done Bojan, worked his nackers off and really contributed today.
Played some cracking stuff.
Delighted for Duff.

1000 times better from the off, work rate from every player was class to see, one touch passing and controlled the game, Brodie is going to be a one hell of a player, had us to lose 2 - 0 before the game, thanks Duff for proving me wrong.
