I was firmly in the Corberan camp, what he did with an inherited squad of average players then adding journeymen and lower league signings and moulding them into a genuinely good side (we finished third) was remarkable, a bad taste was left in the mouth when he left but we cant do much about that, he made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Yep, completely agree, what he did with that squad was bordering on genius. Doesn't change the style of football being turgid though Basically he polished a turd, he got an average side playing above themselves with an effective style, which as you say was pretty dross to watch, but effective. Basically it was get in front, soak up a load of pressure and then score again late on.

Sorensen did well in the air defensively but otherwise I thought he was poor again. Some awful passes and continues to just blast at the defender stood in front of him instead of trying to work a yard space before crossing it. Certainly nowhere near the player I thought we would be getting. Peltier was a far better player if you compare to our side the last time we were at this level I would have to incline to agree on this one, did well to get into some good space but could never give off that final pass or cross. I’m pretty sure he was the answer to all the corners we had ! He was deliberately going for the corner as far as I could tell. Not sure if he wasn't happy with options in the middle or whether it's part of the game plan. Does seem a bit low on confidence at the minute, hopefully it will return and we'll see more of the player from the first few games. To be fair he's young, it's a big move for him and he's playing in a team that is massively struggling to find it's feet. Miller looks great on the other side but is a seasoned pro, maybe that's the difference. Hope so, quality wingbacks on each side will help massively.

The thing that any sports supporter craves is winning, let the entertainment, hopefully, follow success
