It doesn't look as though there'll be many of us watching at the ground tonight 😬

Micky Mouse Trophy, Donald Duck Trophy, or Dora The Explorer Trophy - if it’s a senior professional game that Huddersfield Town are playing in I want them to win and win well. I keep saying it, there’s so much loser mentality around the place and even in the fans. People saying it’s a waste of time, a distraction or whatever else…it’s a professional tournament with a trophy at the end of it, one we should have a very good chance of winning. We have a squad, and a B team, and youth below that. Some players need minutes, others building fitness after injury, younger ones looking to break through - now is the time to play them. Whatever team we play though they need to be sent out with an objective to batter the opposition and go for the trophy. People are just jumping on the bandwagon with this 'loser mentality' crap. What in god's name has that got to do with fielding a weak team (like everyone else does!) in this alleged competition? It's done for a positive reason, not a negative one and that's to help reduce the number of games (& hence injuries) that the first team squad have to play. It's a joke of a competition which has nothing going for it, only risk of yet more injuries. Back in 1994 there was the novelty of the first Wembley appearance in 56 years, but even that doesn't apply now given we've been back 5 times since. Play the likes of Kane, Bojan & Ladapo etc for part of the game in accordance with their fitness regimes, but hardly anyone else from the main match day squad. Complains about the use of “loser mentality” and then proceeds to justify losing…. You’ve not only proven my point but if you weren’t so quick to defend your own loser mindset, you’ll see that I literally said play the squad and even youth players. I don’t care who plays as long as they go out with a view to dominate and if not that, find a way to win by any means necessary. Defending throwing any completion or game is the clearest sign of a loser and completely unacceptable, regardless how many times we’ve been to Wembley! What a completely pathetic attitude. Do you think Real Madrid fans are so apathetic towards the Champions League because they’ve won 15? No.. they’re practically rioting if they don’t win again because they hold their club to the highest standards and accept nothing less.

Will this be our lowest attendance we have ever had at the Stadium since it was built, i can't see there being more than 1,999 there tonight.

Where in my post have I talked about throwing the game? I haven't have I? You said play a weakened team, as I did, so I don't know what you're arguing about. You've ignored the main point I made about a weakened team being selected for positive reasons, not negative ones. If you think that's indicative of a loser mentality then you've lost me and every other team (in the BSM, FA & League Cups) must have the same mentality.

Are there any tickets left? Don't want to drive all the way there and be locked out if only 2 parts of ground open.

Judging by how quiet the Peacock is right now, it’s gonna be a quiet night at the ground

It could well be the lowest attendance for a Town game at the stadium. Anyone know what the record low crowd is for a competitive game at that stadium? Around 2,200, against Peterborough in the same competition. Can’t remember the exact number. Suspect this will be lower, but not as low as some Leeds Road crowds.

Strong lineup that. Be good for confidence if one of the strikers got off the mark tonight.

Sorensen is going to get completely burned out at this rate, we just don’t have a replacement

A bit irritated that Iorpenda isn’t starting. I get playing some into form and getting minutes into the legs, but he needs matches more than experienced players.

To be fair, which no one has mentioned, lose tonight and we're practically out of the competition.

I think we’ll see a lot of changes at half-time (how many are allowed in this competition?) and it’ll be like a friendly with a lot of the squad getting a run out.

Suppose they're all televised now plus you can't just turn up and slide your money to someone on the turnstile. Now you have to buy a match ticket.
I'd be going tonight if it weren't televised but I can't be arsed.

Hopefully Ward & Healey will get most of the 2nd half, makes sense playing possible starting 3 at back for Bristol Rovers game together tonight......If Miller, Wiles & Kasumu are pencilled to start next week then Hodges place is up for grabs.

Just found it on ifollow Huddersfield channel on my IPTV....Doesn't neccessarily mean its on ifollow for some reason my IPTV has its own channel for all EFL clubs and shows the games whoever is broadcasting them
