I would have made those fuckers walk back last night with their baseball shirts / weird hockey jackets.
And in for training around now to do laps of the pitch.
When we lost a game for Westend U13s we had to crawl around the pitch for the entire training session the following Saturday. These lads will probably be given a few days off before a half arsed training session next week.

If anyone went, what was the reaction when Duff and the players went over at the end?
I would have lost my head if I was there.
Some of their players were working an actual job yesterday, will probably be today too...if our players are given a day off today that's a HUGE part of the problem.
The manager has to take the flak but these players are an absolute disgrace.
The one common thread that's consistently there across the years.
We need to be ruthless, root and branch clear out now and not keep players for being good one or two games a season. Which idiot sanctioned a 2 year deal for Ladapo?
I'd take another year at this level to ensure we can have a proper clear out of the playing staff but also some of the senior people too.
It's long overdue

Nagle either get a grip or clear off No one would know were owned by a billionaire woukd they Its a shit show watching our players laughing and joking after that . Players should be punished with extra training if duff can't see that he needs to clear off too . It's like Powell all over again not been present.

It's long overdue "You're not fit to wear the shirt" "That was embarrassing" "Do do do losing to a pub team" Just 3 of the at times vociferous chants aimed at the players and staff. Certainly as toxic a post match atmosphere as I can remember in a long time - and rightly so. This has to be duffs "Macclesfield equivalent" or he will join Buzz, Erminator, Shitenreiter out the door pronto. As for taking another year - there's no choice. This lot aren't good or consistent enough for anything else....mediocrity rules.

It was bad enough seeing what Alan Nixon had to say last night, absolutely castigating us from top to bottom and with some relish. Now we have Steve Chicken giving it to us with both barrels in a brilliantly written article, using words such as spineless, soft, self-destructive and death-spiral thinking.
Time to suck it up for a while I guess.

Didn’t help when their no.9 aimed a right hook at him. If only VAR was in play... It's a perfectly good goal. Keeper in totally the wrong position, back pedaling in a crowd of players then misses his punch. The arm of the striker didn't affect anything, he was off balance going backwards because he'd totally misjudged the throw. Doesn't help that he's tiny for a keeper but he was awful all night, his kicking was terrible and he was punching balls he should be catching. He's been out for a while, seems the decision to chuck him back in for this banana skin game live on BBC wasn't a good one. I think we miss Clements.

GOAL KEEPER who can't catch a ball and can only punch it out. That is not goal keeping but volley ball. Not that out field players were much better. We know they can play, so this is mentality. They need a course of mindfulness or better heroic.us They have no motivation, heart or ambition. Time to pay them by results not even Pearson was fired up. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Agree if that was a Town goal I wouldn't have been happy if it was disallowed Maxwell was weak - not the only one - and while there was some contact I think keepers get too much protection overall. It's not enough to call a foul and if that was the bar 50% of corners would be stopped for fouls Also rightly a OG. If Maxwell doesn't touch it it goes straight in from a throw in and is disallowed. Sums up Town last night

One lesson to take away is the power of tge long throw in . Something we should work on. They have all day 5 days a week to practice it. Shamed by part timers who expose tge joke of professional lay abouts

Maxwell was bigged up by many as our permanent keeper if we’d have sold Nichols. He’s bloody awful, absolutely zero presence and couldn’t catch a cold. The goal last night was absolutely embarrassing however you break it down.

Yet when he had to deputise for Nichols for a few games he did OK. Not the best day to choose to have one of your worst performances… He gave them the goal, but there were 10 other players on that pitch who should have had enough to make that mistake null & void… We have a ridiculously soft underbelly at Town, I’m puzzled how we’ve arrived here so quickly. Our performances this year have been largely underwhelming, so I’m not knee jerking here. Need to get a psychology coach in because these players always look shot to me, and struggle with dealing with setbacks.

Duff said all our crosses went to the keeper. True, but he was there and commanded the penalty area. He caught the ball (not punch) and could redistribute it. And he had done his day job on the day. Defensively, starting with keeper we were a shambles.

Is it already over the line before Maxwell touches it? He seems a long way back in the net but at that pace and trajectory you'd need some sort of computer modelling to be sure. We just weren't good enough going forward, too many off target shots. A more clinical front line would have had 3 or 4 for us last night.

So I didn't have a nightmare that we just had our most embarrassing defeat in our entire history? That shit actually happened 🤔
Fair play to Tamworth, well deserved victory.
Shameful performance from town.

Defensively, starting with keeper we were a shambles. Commanded his penalty area well hardly put under any pressure was he. Every single cross or corner we had ended up in his hands without a town player within 10 yds of him. Lets have less of this goal should not have stood crap it did because of very poor goalkeeping. At least Tamworth knew how to get the ball into an area where a goal might result. Did we? did we hell

Apparently they had 6 analysts watching Tamworth...
Question...what are they paid for. I honestly reckon I could have watched their last few games and won with our squad
He should have changed the team and freshened it up a bit.
Awful from the players and manager

I thought it was probably a foul on the keeper, but even if it was it was still piss weak goalkeeping. We were never going to just turn up and brush them aside...theyre a good side, used to winning, and on their own very different pitch in the biggest game of their careers. Of course we should win, but it was never a foregone conclusion. Why the cameras were there in the first place.
I couldn't really give a shit about being knocked out of the FAC..cups are now a meaningless distraction to what matters....but doing it on national Tv against some part time players is embarrassing to say the least. We're not the first by a very long way though and we wont be the last, so think we just need to suck it up and move on.
In the downward trajectory weve had over the past few seasons, lets hope this is the low point of that. If we go back up in May, no one will care less about last night.

This lot have no balls for a playoff fight

They are 2 divisions below us - mid/lower table at that, have one of the worst defences in their league and have only scored 19 goals in their 16 games. We should have been brushing them aside. No matter what the line up, pitch, conditions, what throwing specialists they have. Pathetic.

What makes last night even more puzzling, is that it has come off the back of a series of positive results, brought about by a slowly but surely increasing quality of play/performance.
In our wins against Bristol and Exeter, we pressed hard, moved the ball around quickly, and defended with good organisation and intelligence, so where the hell was any of that last night?
