7 points off Automatic with 32 to play and you're giving up? Wow. 1 point off the play-off when we're currently 3rd in the form table and you're saying we'll see. We're 8th, 3rd in the form table, 5 clean sheets for 14 matches. We've won more that we've lost and we've scored more than we've conceded....But Yeah it's rubbish. It has. Come on. Even the wins. How can winning be rubbish? That's the whole point of football. To win matches. Was it a rubbish season under Wagner? Or even CC? The football might not have being great. But finishing 3rd and getting into the play-off was not rubbish.

Wagner in the championship we controlled the ball, made chances and played front foot aggressive football. This year has been dull, no intensity, barely anything exciting. Wins can be boring, and we've seen that a lot this year.

What is your point? My point is that we are being poorly led by the owner downwards and we won't change this until we change course dramatically. I think we could have been promoted immediately this season if the correct decisions were made in the summer. But our recruitment has been poor. So now I see that we are falling way short and I have no confidence in Cartwright or Nagel. My point is you're starting to sound like Sheff Wednesday fans, with you're expected and presumed we'd be promoted. There was nothing in last season to suggest we should expect to get promoted. There was nothing in the summer that suggested we should expect to get promoted. We got relegated because we were/are a team full of average - good league 1 players. We signed average - good league 1 players over the summer. So you saying you expected us to get promoted just sounds deluded And we're 8th, 1 point of the play-off, with 32 games to play. We're currently 3rd in the league 1 form table. If we continue that form to the end of the season we are definitely in the play-off, do slightly better and we can get in the top 2. Can I ask what you think the dramatic change of course is that you think we need? Signing players that can pass a ball, we could try to be entertaining! How about we just look like a team?

If we were to hypothetically lose against Man United u21 on Tuesday, where would this week and a half rank in the most embarrassing weeks to be a town fan in history? Has to be right up there! Way down the list. We've been far worse than this over the years. Forget the cup result, we're a goalscorer away from being a top six side. I understand that but on the face of it we’ve lost to a part time team and failed to beat Crawley town. Losing to an academy team would top it all off. It would have to be up there for me

You look at the result and think it's an ok point. then I watch the match, consider Crawley bloody awful, and think it's a very very poor performance and result. Healey the only decent striker, and Koroma is a striker who genuinely cannot head a ball. It was a mistake to bring Koroma on. Clearly not up to the pace of the game. Mistimed his jump for both the headers and the 2nd one especially was a bad miss.

Positives today;
A new ground. The January transfer window is a week nearer.
Negatives today
Everything else.

Home by 530pm but only just starting to get caught up with the forum. Hope Town fans found the car park I recommended and have a good trip back up.
Town ought not to have let Crawley in with a sniff but we are so lacking in guts, fight and intelligence. Lonwijk put Marshall in with a great first time pass and Marshall had acres of space but he actually turned his back on the pass! My seven year old grandson, seeing his second ever Town game, said “that number 9 is useless”. Honestly, Radulovic has to be the worst so-called striker I’ve ever seen play for Town. He has nothing. Today should have be his last game for Town, and Marshall wasn’t much better.
I thought Kane was the best player on the pitch, took his goal very calmly. Koroma should have done better with a couple of headed chances.
I’m not going to start criticising Duff yet. I wanted him last season so I’m not giving up on him yet. Recruitment has been shown to be not good enough (yet again) in the summer. We can’t be firing the manager every four months.

We have to send Marshall back in January to free up space and wages for someone better. We have no chance of getting rid of any of the others so we have to go the easiest route (helped by the fact he's not very good).

We need a hair transplant in January.

On my way home and struggling to have any connection with this team at all. No matter what Duff says we weren’t the better team today. We played in fits and starts and to be honest I feel I am going to games due to force of habit than anything else. Seeing my mates was the best part of today. This pile of shite can get in the bin.
See you at Mansfield 😂

Radulovic is so far off having the base physical attributes required for English football it’s hilarious. He could have all the ability in the world (he doesn’t, but I think he has some) but if you can’t run faster than 3 quarter pace, can’t cover the distances required per game and get blown over by a light breeze then you just don’t belong here. Nobody is going to let you play. He’s the flakiest, softest 6’3” bloke I’ve ever seen. That MUST have been obvious from watching him in Finland or wherever.

I am seriously beginning to think Nagle is not here for the footballl. Well I can tell him now this town would never, ever forgive some rich owner to destroy its football team. HTFC is Huddersfield and without it it might as well be Kirklees or any other made up name. Go on Nagle finish the club, develop the land, build houses and take away our culture. But you will be left with an expensively built white elephant and over 100,000 unhappy citizens of the Town of Huddersfield. We are not the red Indians or Mexicans the Americans displaced, robbed and murdered.

Like what? I'm as pissed off as anyone with the shite football, boring negative formation, downward spiral, defeatist attitude the club has been in for years now. But football on Saturday afternoons are ingrained. If I'm not there I'm listening on the radio or watching a stream, following other clubs scores on line etc etc Totally agree. Saturday has been all about football for me since I was a kid. It will never change and I’ll never do anything else. That was me. I suppose I’ve changed but I’ve no doubt that football has changed too.

Some oeople carry on like they”re the only ones disappointed, everyone who was there today or watched it through other sources will have been pissed off, wouldnt it be great if we won every single week….well no it wouldnt actually! Sabs: quite a few fans are that disengaged that they have stopped going. Some of us have posted this as honestly as we can: not in a ‘look at me’ woe kind of way, more in a melancholic, honest way. This should be of concern to fellow supporters and to the club as a whole. It has been so bad, so boring, so predictable and so fucking shite for so long that some of us are in the process of giving up. We aren’t proud of that; in fact I feel a certain sense of loss. Town have played a major part in my life for so long that it’s actually quite sad to be detaching myself from it. We shouldn’t be ridiculed for feeling like this because this isn’t some fair weather thing. We’ve just been burned by crap performances, terrible coaching, uncertain ownership and a general change in the footballing climate.

I feel almost no connection to the club and this group of players now. I'm a mere whippersnapper with 41 years service in my log book, I've seen some shit times and some amazing ones, but the last few seasons have been a dull grind, apart from the Carlos season and the Warnock miracle. It's the dullness that's done it, I think. We're a boring side to watch. I know that sounds weak but, at the end of the day, we're paying good money to watch this stuff.

It’s so fucking bleak atm.

There are too many variables to just throw money at it, we need the right blend to turn the ship and start moving in the right direction and we are not there yet. Have a feeling we’ll be at least two years in this league unfortunately.

I don't think we have the necessary minerals, when the shit hits the fan, to sustain any kind of challenge at the top end of the table.
