I know it wont go down well in the current circumstances, amidst the complaints of everything being shit yesterday the game on its own was decent, a pretty open game, a neutral would have come away thinking he'd seen a decent match, still disappointing for us though. As for some of the above comments questioning Chapman for the first goal, it was a nicely taken goal and sometimes its not necessarilly because of oppositions alleged errors. Something was amiss with him. Wrong starting position and inability to adjust. The shot flight was nailed on he could just not see it. Once he is past Spencer he has only one ting in mind , he advertises that by opening his body and off it goes. I could see it coming a couple of seconds before it happened, thinking to myself far corner. So yes fault of Chapman in my view. Like goalies if they fuff it an analysis is done, whereas Wiles missed sitter goes somewhat under the radar. Also think bit harsh on chapman,it was a clever finish. Had lees covered round for Pearson straight away chances are he wouldn’t have even got the shot off. Second goal Nigel was out of position but Kasumu let his man go,a rare mistake recently. The wiles miss and the first koroma header were terrible really. His second header wasn’t much better. All in all like I mentioned yesterday,it was a slow tedious sort of performance until 60 minutes or so when we actually started playing with urgency but even if it didn’t look great to the eye we’ve created more than enough to win that game even with the defensive errors.

I can feel the despondancy, and fully justified it is. Though I do think Duff has to take responsibilty to a fair degree. WE keep saying we have no threat up front, very true but Radulovic is in a different league. He is a centre halfs dream. I was thinking yesterday on the train after the game thinking now if Steve Kindon....... A centre half knew he had been in a game if Kindon was playing.

As was aptly put this morning by my eldest about Radulovic, he scores once a year then cries.

Life line. Can't remember the last time we equalised in a game. Think it would've been Breitenshiter's first game. Birmingham at home when Healey equalised. Now when did we last equalise twice when it finished 2-2? I don’t know the answer off the top of my head.

Weak is my description. So easy to defend against. Really annoying that folk blame duff. I know the manager ultimately takes the blame but a lot of these players have let manager after manager down. They need a rocket up their arses and start playing with some speed. It’s so dreadfully slow

As was aptly put this morning by my eldest about Radulovic, he scores once a year then cries. Exactly this. Very limited in terms of ability + half-hearted = a total waste of a shirt. I think Duff has been sticking him in to try and toughen him up and see if he can make a player out of him. Failed experiment. One goal and even that was bundled in from a yard out. Massive transfer window ahead. We're still in a good position despite looking poor in general, which is an indictment of the league. A couple of wise signings, Balker/Hodge back from injury, and we can build towards a promotion push. I hope either Taylor or someone else who offers an actually goal threat is already lined up.

Disagree we haven't played yet! When we have a fit squad we will be top 4 Fair enough, I respect your opinion. I don't think we have the necessary minerals, when the shit hits the fan, to sustain any kind of challenge at the top end of the table. Hogg & helik have plenty of "minerals" The league is better than I remember, disarm the long ball game we will prosper

Still think we'll finish around 12th. I don't think we've reached the bottom of this particular downward trend. Fancy a wager?!

Not seen any comment on it, but…… The Last Post and the minute’s silence were both impeccably observed by all the fans today. It seemed a long minute today. It was in the tenches

To mount a genuine “promotion push. I hope either Taylor or someone else who offers an actually goal threat is already lined up.”
I wouldn’t bet any money on it. Cartwright only seems to deal with agents of injury prone or slow, useless carthorses for strikers.

Heard from a good source at Viz that Billy the Fish will be our next signing. Parsley source? Billy The Fish, he was a guy at my old local who could sink 15 pints a night. I remember going to Grimsby many moons a go and the Town fans were singing "you only sing when your fishing", they weren't amused as we found out after the match.

To be fair to Cartwright it must have been a tough job finding a striker shitter than Radulovic but he managed to succeed with Ladapo.

Cartwright only seems to deal with agents of injury prone or slow, useless carthorses for strikers. He might have been a good signing if we'd managed to get it over the line in the summer, but he's played 83 minutes for Luton this season so we'll end up having a Healey type scenario by trying to get him match fit for months, something we cannot afford to do if we have any serious promotion ambitions this season. We need players ready to hit the ground running, unlike Healey, Radulovic and Ladapo, who have all been signed way short of match fitness. I don't think Cartwright is capable of learning lessons though, unfortunately.

Absolute shit signing and a total waste of whatever we paid for him. They saw us coming that day! 😂

Read through the Crawley message board. Decent bunch. They think we're miserable. Their owners seem like pricks, They sold all the players that got them up They had to endure Ryan Schofield for one game. Good luck to them I hope they stay up.

Very disappointing result as this is one I’d have potentially expected to win but hey ho - This is HTAFC and as always expect the unexpected !
Expensive one for me as I buy a double in The best footy bar every time that Town Score...
So £16 down the drain and only a point to show for it...
Still it’s better than a defeat and in the right direction after Tamworth if only just -
Anyway onwards and upwards to Manchester United U21’s on Tuesday...
Was speaking to a lad that supports Town and works at our local golf course The Machrie Hotel and Golf Links and he’s off down for this one so coming from The Whisky Isle all that distance I hope he gets a result !
Then all being well it’s me down for Wigan Athletic on 3rd December...
Probably not many go from many Scottish Western Islands but here’s two from The West Island heading to The John Smith’s Stadium within two to three weeks ! 👍

I reckon Nigel gets caught out of position because he’s in two minds. The defensive line moved up but Nigel realised that Miller was super deep after going to ground at the byline, he was conscious of this and kind of got caught out not marking anyone.

Said to a lassie he knew in our Co-op on Saturday that I was a very passionate HTAFC fan and she is from Huddersfield and we had a pure fab chat about Mavericks, The Plumbers Arms, The Old Hatte, The Crown, Showtime, The Cherry Tree, The Vulcan, The Yorkshire Rose, Botafogos, Eusiphysis, Masaon La Pepas, LaLa’s curry house... I presume it was his sister as she had a partner from Europe with her... So Aye - Good old Huddersfield Town and the Town of Huddersfield were big talk in the queue to the booze checkout much to the wry smiling locals in the booze and fags and lottery queue beside us... She was pleased to see me in full HTAFC attire as well !!! 😊 👍
