Quite encouraged that a few of them have clearly been told some home truths this week. Hopefully get a good reaction out of them now and if not then we know who needs moving on!

I'll watch the presser when I get home. The post match interview at Tamworth you could tell that Duff was seething, not seen him like that before.

I was just getting the phrases on every match thread into one sentence... and yes, it gets it out of the way.

Danny Ward has been off sick this week. FFS, the guy is taking the absolute p*ss out of the club and it's fans. No doubt he'll have another holiday booked imminently and will pick up another back/calf/thigh injury. The older the player gets the more likely this is going to happen. Not sure if he has school age children, but there's a LOT of sickness going round locally this week.

We've got 6 strikers, how many more do we need? It's the supply that's thd problem. Even though I said what I said about the strikers, we probably do need a striker and a midfielder who is a leader. One who is fit to be called a striker! Well there is that mate.

I could be completely wrong on this, but listening to Duff’s press conference it seems he had hard words to say to at least one player and he didn’t seem overly impressed with the reaction. I’m guessing that player was Radulovic, particularly as there was a strong hint that Healey will play. No excuses for Town. Crawley have lots of injuries themselves, no natural right or left back available in midweek, with midfielders Kelly and Forster having to play there. Best defender Flint also probably still missing, captain Jay Williams possibly having to play through a knee injury. Radulovic probably cried when Duff raised his voice at him

I fully expect a positive reaction on Saturday, I think we will win 3-1.
Duff is clearly very pissed off with them, if they don't react to this last week, they never will.

Comments on the Crawley forum that none of their injured players will be back, including Williams. Also some “cold and flu in the camp”.

Based off that press conference I’d imagine it’s maybe Chapman Spencer Pearson Lonwijk Turton Kasumu Kane Millet Wiles Marshall Koroma/Healey Potentially lees instead of Spencer and Spencer at wing back as before the cup game.Or potentially Spencer as wing back and turton in the back 3 with Pearson central. The rest I’d be fairly certain of predicting. There maybe a grain of truth in that line up .

Evans missing with a 'bruised toe'. Can you imagine any of the 79/80 team missing a game with that 'injury' ?

The old ex Town players like Gibson/Low (sadly no longer with us) would tell some great stories about Bill Shankly, in particular when Denis Law (who got kicked from pillar to post) was ever injured Shanks would completely blank him until he was fit to play again.......Needless to say a bruised big toe would not be an acceptable excuse back then, your leg had to be hanging off.

No, specifically in this last week there has been a BIG increase compared to normal with lots of rapid onset violent sickness and kids having to go home.

He also said he could still be available. Give over - he left early as he was expecting a new three wood in the post from Amazon and want to be there to collect it personally - 12k on a bit of plastic and steel seems a bit excessive to me but then again a weeks wage is nowt !

He also said he could still be available. I understood it as he was sick/vomited at half time and then kept away from the others to recover but also to stop any spread. 48 hours without symptoms for things like that.

On the other side of that, Bob McNab reckons Town’s treatment of injuries was absolutely appalling and nearly cost him his career - it wasn’t until he arrived at Arsenal where he received proper medical attention that a longstanding injury was treated.
