Did they make some less than positive comment that could in a certain light be taken as a hint of critisism after we went from 2-0 up to 4-2 down at peterborough, or after the 5-1 hammering at Goodison? naughty Doug! Ill miss their incisive reporting. Apparently the top story this weak was going to be an interview with any random player who's saying the result against charlton was a big boost but nobody's going to get carried away and they'll just try and carry that form into the next game!!!!!!!!!!! but now we'll never know that thats the word from the dressing room.

This is getting pathetic..........
If true (and thats a big If at the moment) then its a bit sad. If relating to comments about being 2 nil up and then loosing 4-2, well what do you expect?
The unexamined does (and rightly so) get plenty of stick of times for being up the clubs arse and not saying how it is, if they have been banned daring to have a go, then its a bit sad IMO..
Having said that, the number of untrue stories around at the moment is also a bit sad and this could just be another bull shit tale from a troublemaker trying to stoke up yet another untrue story..
Guess time will tell..
the truth is out there!

I've heard, albeit second hand, that this is true.
Apparantly they wrote something that Town (don't know who, rumoured to be SJ) didn't agree with, so they have withdrawn the Examiners rights and priveliges for the time being and they have to go through the Media Dept for any info!!

It must have happened AFTER the Charlton match because Dougie Thompson was sat there in the press box as usual

Bollocks to the media, who is more key to us getting out of this division, Lee Clark or Newspapers and radio?
Get behind the manager for fucks sake.

Word of caution, everyone right away looking at Lee Clark, whereas LadyTerrier has picked up possibility that it was Sean Jarvis. Perhaps this is not related to Lee's dig at BBC lads for being a bit on the negative side. Let's wait and see some facts emerge before we get to overheated.

Player ratings for the foreseeable future.....
6 if they were shite 7 if they were good 8 if they scored
Headline after we win...
'Town romp home to victory'
Headline for next fixture on the back of a win....
'Town hoping to continue winning ways at *****'
Player interview....
'***** said today, Town have real ambition, this is a great set of lads with a great set up. The manager is determined and so is the chairman'
Capture of a player
'Town have swooped for the capture of **** from *****, he's Big/fast/strong/experienced (delete as appropriate)'
Selling a player...
'Town Star **** has moved to ***** the versatile/young/experienced scored *** goals and made **** appearances. The manager LC said he's been a great servant for the club a true pro and this move suits both parties.

But, the facts don't really matter. What we know so far is that the examiner has been banned. This doesn't affect our push for promotion. Therefore doesn't matter. In fact, i'd go as far as to say it's none of our business.

we don't even know if its true and if so what the facts are never mind that its sj involved. One thing sean has shown himself to be both in person and on these boards is a man of his word and integrity. If it is true then I'm sure he will come on here to explain his actions.until that time lets not judge harshly!

Seems pretty pathetic if true.
As a lower league club we don't get much media coverage, so we need all we can get. We don't want to turn off future (or current) generations of Town fan because they can't the news or information they want about Town simply because Clark has thrown a paddy.
Ken Bates' decision to bad Radio Leeds from Elland Road is similarly short-sighted in my view.

So whether this is true or not, it certainly makes sense

The Examiner is usually the last place to look if you want Town news, i usually check here,NewsNow and Sky Sports for info before the local rag. If this is true then it's no great loss to me personally
