This deal represent very good business, once again.
It's bizarre in that there's no manager and a decision is made like this, but ship him out for over £1m and he can be replaced or the squad can be be bolstered in the right area or a new manager can be paid.
I thought Coady, Butterfield, Hogg and Norwood was a pretty well balanced selection for CM pick. Two per position.
I would assume there is great faith in Sinnott, Crooks and Billing for this move to be considered, but beyond that, it is just really good business.

I guess not having a manager in place I'd immaterial in this instance. If the contract is expiring and he could go for nowt. Then the boards decision to cash in would probably override what ever the manager wanted.
Who and how the money is spent is more down to the new manager.
