So funny to read this thread after the game and see that the usual cavalcade of cocks has passed through again .. Hi lads .. we still going down ?? At least some of us bothered to turn out today Ted. I can't wait for this season to end to be honest mate and fit for the record, I do not think we are going down but its been dross from day one practically.

Just back, awful pitch resulted in a game where the ball was in the air more than on the deck. Good point Miller is certainly a handful, new lad did ok and to be fair Edgar did alright defensively, Should have had a penalty when Miller was brought down, special mention for Lynch's clearance class. Happy with a point roll on Monday! Screaming at Miller to get up and get on with it. Blatant dive! Must have a 10 foot wing span. Brilliant clearance by Lynch though.

Agree with Chip's comments there. This season has been a difficult struggle right from the 24th second! It was looking pretty ominous after that first game against AFCB (and they missed a penalty), then there was the fiasco over Robins's departure. There's not been too much excitement this season has there? After day 1 would I have taken where Town are right now? Yes I would, but I've supported Town too long to accept that we're safe yet! The odds are we'll survive, but that's about all you can call it, survival. It's been a bad season. I suppose the primary objective for CP for this season was survival, but things need to change going forward, otherwise I fear for the future of the club.

In a nut shell it was a poor game, pitch was poor, our passing was poor, I was not surprised when we conceded but was pleasantly surprised by us showing character to grab an equaliser. It's another point which makes me happier but it was a tough 90 minutes to sit through for £30.

The Club took a calculated gamble in January by offloading a load of dross and not bringing too many players in. Remember it's a time when prices become inflated and we made do with a few loans. I'm hopeful that with a summer to wheel and deal, the gamble will have paid off and Powell will have more room to manoeuvre and have his own, stronger-looking squad in place by the start of August. Never understand this thinking tbh. Its always up to the current management team to get the best out of what we have. If as a minimum they can't field a team that shows passion and effort, whatever their technical limitations, then its as much the management team that needs changing as the playing 11. Between now and the end of the season need to see the type of driving, pressing effort we put in v Norwich, Brum, Fulham in every game. Having said that - lets get a decent pair of fullbacks - they are critical to play in the Championship.

The things I do to watch Town....shit turn out today by Town too. Safe trip home mate! Surely nobody could blame town fans for not wanting paying hard earned money to watch that shite. Cant believe that idiot left the inform Miller on the bench for an out of form player. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can an unemployed successful manager like Mr Warburton be brought in to put a bit of missing spark back into both team and fans.

We only showed an interest in attacking when we went behind. He's so bloody negative. Not for me. My comment still stands. Powell out! What rubbish - 2 strikers away from home, better chances in first half but because they score before us we only attacked then apparently. I remember when an away point at a side above you in the table was a decent result A point away from home is only any good when you win your home games - but we don't do that either. How many games is he allowed to go without winning before getting the boot. Hopefully not much longer.

I hope and expect him to have all of next season after reshaping the squad in the summer, it was obvious to me that our January dealings meant it would give Powell greater flexibility in the summer window. I hope he can take us onwards and upwards next year, I never want to see Town lose so a manager can be changed.

The Kings Arms 1 The Black Swan 1 dire game played out on a poor council pitch between two sides who looked like they didn't get in till late after a very heavy night. most of it was like watching an open wound.... some games they should be allowed to shake hands on a point apiece and not bother playing them, this was very definitely one of them. the point is good... the price to watch that was very much obtaining by deception. Spot on that. 2 desperately poor teams on a shocker of a pitch (though the thick bastards from both sides constantly forced "play" - I use the word very, very lightly - down the cabbage patch side). For all the stick Edgar gets on here though - and he is limited - he showed a lot of discipline today in the "poor man's Hogg" role. Wells, on the other hand, was woeful. He looks completely out of his depth - weak, poor touch, precious little awareness. Town's equaliser was only deserving because neither of these teams deserved to win. Strange though that Powell's point gaining substitution (and Miller caused more problems to Wednesday in 5 minutes than Wells had in an hour) appears to be being overlooked on here?

2 things were 'championship' today..
the admission price and the wages of the players..
the rest would have shamed the bottom 2 in the conference battling out for a desperate point in a piss poor season..
truly quite awful 'game'....
any there today thinking about watching us regularly will have had their minds made up..

A lot of focus was put on the pitch today and rightly so, it was awful. No great surprise that Sheffueld Wednesday, Bradford, Wigan and Blackpool all use the same management company and product supplier. Corner cutting bastards.
