Loan loan loan bloody loan Moan moan bloody moan Beat me to it. What part of DW's "when it became clear that our targets were not available in this window, we moved down a different road to help for the rest of the season" is so hard to understand

He could, just could, be your cult player of the year. Incredible pace, can easily beat his man . . . and . . . and, well if the goal stretched from corner flag to corner flag he might hit the target. He will give the linesman a bout of repetitive strain syndrome from flagging offside every time he gets the ball. When he does burst forward he's like a rhino on heat . . . . well that's about it really. Enjoy the moment 'cos that's all you're going to get with Elvis, apart from the songs. " He's caught in a trap, he can't let go, cos he's offside baby, we can't go on together with suspicious minds . . ". Sorry! would you like to sign Ishmael Miller? he's a 30 goal a season winger you'd like the songs big ishy big ishy running down the wing big ishy big ishy, watch his bollocks swing

... “I’ve talked a lot during this winter window about bringing players to the Club who would help us in the long term but when it became clear that our targets were not available in this window, we moved down a different road to help for the rest of the season." This from Wagner seems to explain the situation perfectly. What happens if our targets aren't available in the next window either? That's 3 windows now we have failed to adequately strengthen. No offence to the new lad but there is nothing wrong with the 3 wingers already at the club. Its like going over to the woopsie bin in the supermarket on a Sunday night expecting fillet steak but only finding off cuts. Sooner or later we will have to go down the aisles for our goods. I sincerely hope he knows how to play cin defence as that's where our main problems lie.

So basically Town have said he's not who we wanted but he'll do No, theyve said we can't get the player we're after to develop the squad longer term so he's a player we're signing to bridge the gap in the meantime until that/those players we are wanting and able to bring in permanently are available. Seems a perfectly reasonable approach. Elvis Manu might actually be a BETTER player than who we are targeting longer term, but he's a player we aren't prepared to pay the asking price for (which assumedly could be £4.5m+ given how much Brighton still have to pay for him, even though he's probably "worth" around 1.4m [br Sugar coating.

We'll get loans in to cover the gaps, just like we've done this season with Huws, Paterson, Manu, Carayol, Chillwell, Husband etc. Its not really that difficult to understand surely?

Maybe, just maybe we are prepared to give him more of a chance than you were. You must have one shite scouting system if you paid 1.5m for someone THAT crap! We've finished playing you this season... don't think we need your input anymore. Bye.

Why have we only signed him until 2nd May? He won't be available for our play-off campaign.

Absolute nothing of a striker who bumbled around the Eredivisie a while before going to Brighton and not being remotely good enough

Who was the transfer rumour expert who had us down for signing two Dutch lads?
There could still be one to arrive.

" He's caught in a trap, he can't let go, cos he's offside baby, we can't go on together with suspicious minds . . ". Sorry! How did he compare VLP Nobby? Chalk and cheese! VLP, I thought, was a good addition to our squad when we were desperate through injuries. He came with the goods - able to beat his man, cut in AND score, crossing not so hot. Elvis - I love the bloke! He's hardly played to be honest but when he comes on as sub, around the 80th minute, expect the unexpected. Tactically he's useless, but there are moments when he lifts the whole crowd. On one occasion he chased a through ball (he was onside for a change!) gave the defender a ten yard start and still beat him. He's a bulldozer on Mach2 with the same amount of control! So my view - VLP reliable and will do what's required, Elvis is a big gamble. Give him a ball to chase and he'll get it, what he does afterwards - well that's the gamble. Hopefully for you he'll come good and do the business, it will be fun to watch. By the way, his boots aren't blue suede!

I wish we actually owned some of our players though That would mean we have to spend money which is something we don't do , all the dean Hoyle fanboys will say it's a good price of business but in reality it's another winger/striker on loan . No wonder people don't come it's simply down to what your putting on the field , all we get are cast offs like whitehead Patterson husband to name a few , only way we're going to get back on track is to try and compete , I know we can't spend 5 or 6 million on players but at least show a bit of intent and maybe just maybe it might work .

Absolute nothing of a striker who bumbled around the Eredivisie a while before going to Brighton and not being remotely good enough Bumbled around?! He scored roughly one goal every three games last season at a higher level than we're at, including 4 Europa League goals and a goal and assist in a Champions League qualifier despite missing a couple of months with a groin injury! Not a bad return for a left winger.

Odds on Leeds fans claiming we've only signed him to annoy them because his name is a bit like their massive rivals?
