Ad Blockers are a godsend. The trouble is with micro site like this one, under the umbrella of Pro Boards, we can’t control the tweaks they make to drive revenues. Which is frustrating as it can impair your browsing pleasure. So to speak. They do give you an ad free option, but it would come with a subscription - wonder if any members want to take that on? |

I'm not really sure why anyone wouldn't want a Nathan Jonesless Luton to do well in the prem. I love to see the smaller clubs doing well up there. Apart from Leeds. A bit of jealousy perhaps. On any other day I would like Luton to win. But needed Arsenal to get those three points.Somebody has to stop Citeh getting four in a row. |

Looking forward to watching Horsham v Barnsley on ITV4 tonight in the FA Cup. The winner is away to Sutton United, so a vested interest for me. Seen Horsham a few times over the years, although not for a while. They always seem to be involved in exciting games in my experience and are well supported by the locals. Their ground is a cracker, especially for a relatively new build. Barnsley have been booted out of the FA Cup so you have got your wish. |

I think David Wagner dropped in at the right time. He was able to bring a new style - his version of the geggenpressing, but more importantly he brought with him a bunch of Europeans that knew how to play that style. Thanks to Brexit that labour pool is not as easy to dip into as it was then. 1st season in the Premier was a fanatastic ride - the new additions were able to keep us up, but as we all know, second season additions were a disaster( because DW realised that he needed to change his style.
In todays marketplace I think DW is a bit lost - he perhaps does not have the versatility to chop and change on the hoof that all the great managers have. If he cannot get a tune out of the Norwich squad, he wont perform any better than DM if he comes here. he should remian an icon and not return.

Draylton is really pissed off cos his (our) favourite curry house in Guiseley has recently closed after many years. Truly devastating news. It is devastating to lose your favourite curry house. Drumrigend - given a yellow for abuse to another poster. This has triggered a one month ban.
Thankfully it's the international break coming up.

Poor article - doesnt explain a damn thing. So what will this new independant regulator have the power to do, what exactly will it regulate? Its not going to replace the FIFA/UEFA/FA pyramind. Maybe it will decide who can own a football club. But that wont stop clubs going out of business. if the chairman goes down then all his enterprises go down - which is exactly what nearly hppened to us. Perhaps the govt will stop treating clubs as businesses and start looking at them as protected institutions - change their tax status and make them charaties - -just like golf clubs up and down the land. Introduce salary caps for Championship and below. Start an emergency fund that all clubs contribnute to - like a form of insurance when a club hits financial difficulty. Lots of good ideas - dont expect any of them to ever take shape.

Cowleys rose too big and too fast. Got too big for their boots. They did a good job keeping us up, but all the antics were just too much. All this, we need to audit the club from top to bottom bollocks. The approach for Concorde was never going to work with any Champiopnship club and thats the bit they never quite grasped.

The only way FIFA will stop making these ridiculous decisions (3 continents for next World Cup, rumours of Greece & Egypt in conjunction with Saudi) is if people don't pay to attend. But there'll be plenty of idiots quite willing to fly to three different continents for ONE tournament. Until idiots stop being idiots, fans will be fleeced and be last on the list of considerations. I would not go to Saudi Arabia to watch the world cup if it was free. Nope, no, never. |
